It strikes me everytime, to see how well you guys work together, and how polite you are - it is a real pleasure. A lot of youtubers could and should learn from you. Thank you for setting the standards high, it is needed. True gentlemen you are.
That's a great van guys . After you both work your magic it's going to be as good as new especially with that mileage well done.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Do these two ever argue with each other...?
Pure class - they’re both top blokes, gentleman! 😊
Exactly and without the need for any swearing 👍👍
Just goes to show years of fault finding experience enables you to establish that your little van is a runner, well done to you both, Chris makes me smile always looking for shrapnel! Look forward to the next episode.
Good old Chris on his hands & knees looking for shrapnel 😂😂
Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves.....
as my mother used to say xxxxx
All I can say two guys at the top of there trade this pair should have a tv channel so many people are missing out on there skills brilliant channel
A TV film crew and producer would ruin this with all the BS that they add to make it an hour long
TV is a smoke and mirrors and is not true to what is actually happening and they would want to jazz it up with an unnecessary talk over being over dramatic.
I’ve come to the conclusion that these small White van drivers, drive to fast and to close to the vehicle in front 😂😂😂😂
Nothing is faster than company van🤣
It’s in the user manual for white vans!
@@adammcallister2260young kids, no sense of danger!
Don't know what you mean
@@uksomo Not with a Tracker on it 😢
A temp bodge to check it runs & is worth doing is allowed, no point in getting all the replacement parts if it doesn't run . another cracking series lads
Screw fix is a good place for ad blue and it’s cheaper than a garage
Very clever fix on the ad blue tank to get it going you are right no ad blue no start
Never thought I’d hear Rob say “just send it” 11:35 😂 great video as usual lads 👍
Great videos lads, as a retired motor mechanic I enjoyed watching them, your enthusiasm is infectious 😄. I used your tayma code for my caravan leisure battery and got six quid off Thank you.
On the older shape ones to reset the fuel cut off you could do it by a sequence on the indicator stalk (indicator left then right then push a button on the dash somewhere (have a 5 min google and see if you can find it (also fiat 500s you could do this way)
I love your improvisation to find out whether the engine will run. So much damage to all sorts of electrical parts on this one, but it’s definitely worth saving on that reg and such low miles. Job’s a good ‘un as Rob would say. You both have some amusing banter these days whilst looking at these motors. Still laughing at Chris’s Biggles Googles on the i3 video😂😂😂
It’s all good saying 10mm can do a lot of the bits but why can no one find one when you need it 😂
Dr Chris at it again. I swear I don't think there is anything on this planet that he can't fix. Big up to both of you for all you do to entertain us. Thanks again for the great videos.
I couldn’t agree more, always fascinating to watch, constantly seeing standards upheld in all ways.
Just on the subject of Chris fixing anything ( which he seems able to) have you followed My mate Vince ?
He too has a wonderfully analytical brain and is brilliantly practical. I love what both of them can do.
Like magicians pulling it out of the bag…every time!
The passenger air bag (if it has one it's an option) is under the headliner. (We build the electric ⚡ version up North)
Harder the challenge the more satisfying the reward, you two are the best in the business ❤❤🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏💪💪❤️❤️
Hi Rob and Chris, great purchase, very low mileage, shame a year was wasted with it sitting somewhere.! Looking forward to this one.!! Alex.
Chris learned those tricks from the 'Bodgeit & Leggitt' mechanics manual 😂
It is strange how things work out, no vans for a while and then a few come along. I think this was a great purchase even with all the broken bits she will be a good van with very low miles. A tool bag for Chris but probably too new for loads of change! Well done in getting it running Rob and Chris now the hunt is on for the parts, good luck and happy hunting Rob. 👍👍
Fantastic ! Great to Nick one now and again, always helps to balance out the odd squeaky deal. Congratulations on this one fellas. “The harder you work, the luckier you get”
Chris scouring the van for change😄If he ever dropped any money it would hit him on the back of the head😀
Lol 😂
Well done again lads. Really interesting vid once more. These vids should carry a health warning "Video may invoke addiction". I'm 68 and started my motor vehicle mechanic apprentiship in 1971. I wish I was starting it now with you guys. Chris has an amazing understanding of modern cars and you're both up for giving it a go. No fear. Life in that workshop would be an education combined with day release ina collage (if they still do that sort of thing) and you could nurture an amasing apprentice mechanic in the right lad with lots of interest and enthusiasm. Day release to get the theory in his/her head and practical experience in the workshop. With so much variety in that workshop they would never leave. My first four years was spent dropping oil, changing filters, replacing exhausts, all that s**t that nobody else wanted to do.
Thanks for the film. Nice to see the van running after your initial checks. It'll make a good van I'm sure
This van was owned by tru7 group. In Suffolk about 20mins from the Colchester co-part you got it from.
It apparently was written off on the m25 back in 2022 when the van was 6months old , matching up with the details given on car vertical 👍
Looking better than the last CAT S that came in. Hopefully you can find a good front end and Chris weilds his magic to get this one back on the road.
Hello Rob & Chris - so good to see you both working together, sharing ideas and getting the engine to start / running = bonus!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Like so many English words, such as wicked has a completely different meaning today, as is the case with a bodger who was in ancient times a skilled craftsman, which Chris certainly is . Nice Balance between both of you really enjoy your videos. Thanks again
Fuel cut off maybe inbuilt in the airbag control module., last year i had a Dacia Sandero come in , customer said airbag light had come on , i plugged my Autel into the car , checked and went to clear the airbag fault and boom., no more running car 😢😂, sent the control module away , reset and cleared , put back into the car and turned the key , started and no codes , job done , well done on getting it running 👍 guys 👏👏
Great video Rob love it how you get so excited when you get to start the cars for the first time love what you and Chris are doing 👏🏻
Hi rob and Chris good luck with the wee van, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
Poor Chris a bad day no coinage just a blooming bag!😉 Nice purchase guys, looking foward to this one. I see you started work at 4 mins past 10 again! Take care...
Did Chris find any shrapnel ? The tea money must be getting low 🤣🤣🤣
Great news getting it started 👍 will look good as new in no time
Another fantastic project gentlemen ❤ well done with the step by step diagnostic and information of how you are going about it ❤
Quite a good impact on this one.Quite a substantial number of parts involved to replace, but worthwhile the hassle given its a new and a low mileage vehicle. There is definitely a potential profit in this acquisition.
Incredible! Tremendous outcome so far. Excellent. Well done.
Nice one guys, looking forward to seeing this one back on the road.
you can over-ride the adblue fault using your diagnostic, this will allow it to start once with a dead adblue system, it is in the engine section
the airbag ECU has told the engine to activate a fuel shutdown, until the system is reset, no fuel pump. some can be reset with the stalk controls keep it up chaps
Great purchase again lads specially with the low low mileage. Hopefully find the bits second hand and then should be a good little earner for you guys
Great fault finding as normal fellas this one doesn't look half as bad as the last little van you had bought 👍 once Chris does his body work magic it will be as good as new 😊 stay lucky and healthy 👍 looking forward to Sundays video 📹 already 😊❤
Love the content guys. Thats going to need a new Adblue Tank and Pump. They require programming and calibrating too on the modern FIATs and IVECOs.
I genuinely beleive no one else can trouble shoot the way you 2 can ....... you're the tops !
great video - keep reeling them in Rob -- amazing that the screen survived
Another good video will be a nice little van when it's fixed you are both great guys keep up the good work
OH NO! Not the washer bottle!
Great video as always, nothing phases you two. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Another gem guys, incredible content with all the different and newer vehicles, love it.
another cracking video guys won't be too long and that will look like a new van once you guys have done your magic keep them coming 💯💯💯👍👍👍👍
We used to put key in ignition on and press alarm button to reset the accident cut off
Nice one guys, engine runs, just the bits and bobs to do! 👍
Brilliant job Chris getting that fuel pump going looks a nice little van looking forward to seeing the next video 👍
Good afternoon Rob and Chris, another great video and it’s a runner.
Thank you for taking the time to upload this video. Ged.
We agree Rob, that Colchester site is nice, Wasn't sure we were at copart when we turned up... looks like a forest retreat site...lol
That will make a nice little van, great find well done Lads 👍👍🇮🇪
Great video, Rob and Chris
map the adblue out
Love the van content can't believe you guy's got it running in that state 👌👌👌
If it’s anything like the fiat 500s the fuel cutoff relearn will be deactivated with the indicator stalk and a few other buttons
Yes I bought a 2012 Bipper that went through a salvage auction as a non runner. Reset the fuel cut off using the indicator stalk and it fired right up.
Another cracking video guys! I’d like to see a video with the camera set up in the corner of the shop and you both just working away with the mics on.
Top video Rob & Chris 😊 love how Chris is as cool as a cucumber when doing his diagnostics 👍🏻
Driven many many miles in a Bipper and they are fantastic little things . Handle like a dream and comfortable on a long journey. Scottish Border to London and back in a day 👍
You two are legends and such an excellent team! Love every one of your videos!!
Love these cute shorty vans - one near me - lowered, big wheels, wrapped. Wicked.
I love these videos you make my day I screaming about that fuel relay had a horrible feeling with that add blue filler unit knew it would be bugger but super chriss to the rescue brilliant van to work on as well ooooooohhhhh
Great job Guys. Another runner and parts to order
Good old fashioned breaking down of a problem, great to see it.

Looks like a nice van and once you both get on it it'll probably look like a new van that's just come from the showroom well done guy's looking forward to seeing the next one 👍

That's going to be a cracking little van for someone.
Great vid guys. Nice new project.
1:58 that seat will need cleaning of its suspicious stains
Camera quality looks good Rob
You can weigh the old bits in for scrap to help pay for the the replacement bits, win win lads.🚗
the other light van that was too far gone can you use it for spares is it the same body
Only mechanics Iv seen who go to work spotless clean , and go home so clean could go on a night out
The best thing you do with ad blue? Have it deleted from the ecu

Hello Rob and Chris, another project,it has had a whack on the front but starts with no problems.such a low mileage van.

Love bodging tis a voyage of discovery good luck with it lads from Ireland 🇮🇪
Unbelievable you both love a challenge well done best garage on utube👍👍👍👍
Nice one lads.

The is fuel cut out can be reset by faffing with the indicators ?
Absolutely brilliant work lads!! “Yes it’s a runner” 😊 Cracking.
I did pass you rob i was on the m25 london bound u was heading towards kent nice van as always top video guys 👍
Crazy they sell cars or vans without passengers air bags should be standard these days
A bodge is allowed! Well done, good teamwork and, no doubt, this will be another little white van back on the road in a few weeks. Seems very dirty inside for 9000 miles! Bit short in the TLC department me thinks.
