- Ross Rowland ran his locomotive C&O 614, a 1948 vintage 4-8-4, from Hoboken, NJ to Port Jervis, NY and return on three weekends in October 1996, hauling railfans both up and back on both Saturdays and Sunday each weekend. The afternoon layover in Port Jervis each day was spent doing photo run-bys and turning the locomotive on the old, partially functioning Erie turntable now powered by bulldozer. I chased the train in my Subaru on all six running days, creating a portrait of this occasion in black and white super 8 film. This 1997 trailer is excerpted from the total hour of footage.
