In this video, I'll be going over some of my wishes that I have for SnowRunner in 2024. This video is about additions and features that would improve the game. Let me know what you would like SnowRunner to add in the comments!

I would love to have something like endless random mission/task generator where you never run out of missions and always have something to do once you finish the maps 100%. Or specific missions where you cant use truck you want, but the truck game tells you, for example use Tayga 6455b to transport 5 slots of woods from point A to Point B, if you change truck, mission failed...or something similar where missions have specific requirements to make the game more interesting and challenging.
They could also create and sell new missions and tasks for existing maps.
That would definitely be an interesting idea, especially for people who have finished the game. Personally, I started another save when I finished for the first time, but it would also be cool to have that feature.
Ability to change trailer tires would also be a great option.
Only fix the crashes in xbox series S/X

Tire pressure is 100% doable. Tire deflection parameters for stiffer and softer tires are in the games mod template xml files. Some modded trucks have really soft tires that I've stiffened up a bit
Very good ideas! Also trailer customization would be good. And mayby some new trucks not OP, but not bad or scouts. I think Ural 4320 4x4 (in game Voron Ae ...) would be good. And I am from Czech republic so I want to see more Tatras in this game.

Terrain modification would be my biggest hope. More ways to permanently alter the map and actually rebuild the region. I have a dream that I'd like to see fulfilled with the game but it probably won't go that way, still fun to think about.

Like in the trailers they make it look so crisp and pristine but when you play it completely the opposite but if they upgraded to unreal engine 4 or better yet unreal engine 5 and addressed all the known faults in the game would be legendary

I love all the ideas as for stickers if you press left or right on the d pad you can add more stickers inside and out and I'd like to see all that and more like dynamic weather pattern and more violent storms and blizzards and animals be a nice addition and overall rehaul of graphics of terrain and trucks and having different region beside Russia and America be awesome cause there is so many more places with dangerous roads to traverse and your Aussie too yay and some chassis flex for all trucks be nice and same with trailers so I dont feel like I'm driving a skateboard and auto wipers for when it raining or snowing and high beams be nice addition but just new top tier graphics and more world regions instead of same ones
- Manual gearbox sadly will never happen due to how the game is built,they'd have to pretty much rebuild every single vehicle and the way it works and how the game engine calculates and uses gears and movement and so on,an easy workaround would be adding custom gearboxes as modifications BUT that also is kinda impossible simply because the overlay doesn't have the gear count given how some mods did try to emulate "manual" gearing. So in the end it would need a complete from the ground up rework sadly.
That being said tho the devs could clearly optimize the gearing in auto to just not be ll over the place and jumping from the top gear to 1st at the tiniest slowdown so no manual gearboxes but some automatic optimizations would be good imo and doable.
- The terrain clearing and such is definitley doable so i'd love if they did it,honestly being able to fix roads and such would be awsome but the simple act of using a frontloader with a bucket attachment or some plow to just push rocks out of the way and remain out of the way permanently would be awsome,sadly as the game is now they reset which sucks.
- Tire preassure is 100% doable,they did it in the OG Spintires so i'm sure they can definitley do it if they want to but they won't nd i will touch on that at the end.
- Different maps and regions i agree,while we do have several i do agree more diversity would be even better, add more regions everywhere in the world not just Russia and US, more areas and regions in Europe,more different themes and such,sadly most regions have the same theme but painted a different color that being "carry stuff to help people after a disaster of some kind" which is not bad but i wish they did more, not every region has to be "pls carry shit for ppl in need" cuz their forest burnt or they got flooded,two different coats of paint but the same thing in concept, also no more racing BS when the game engine and the game itself can't handle that shit =))))
- I do like the idea of dollys and other such new trailer or even more new ones aswel as addons too not just trailer, there is potential but they just don't exploit it.
- Costumization imo is fine the way it is but i won't say more would hurt.
End tought: Sadly most of these things CAN be done with a few exceptions that are just impossible but the devs WILL NOT add them,they will add them but in Expeditions and they won't bother with SnowRunner at least until that game is up and running,Expeditions is not rlly everyone's cup of tea,most ppl like the core gameplay of hauling stuff through bad terrain not just scout around which is what Expeditions is all about so they most likely want that game to have as many of the features we want in this to make ppl want to play that too,after a couple of years in that game's life they will probably add some to this but not anytime soon, hopefully i'm wrong tho.
1. Yeah, this is true unfortunately. It probably won't happen in Expeditions either seeing as the game is drifting towards more of an arcade style.
2. Completely agree here, as this is probably what you would do in real life.
4. Yep, it is a bit annoying to have that theme be a constant repetition.

Along with a manual gearbox, i think multiplayer needs a complete rehaul.
Small Log trailers (vs resorting to the Sideboard Shuffle). Good list otherwise

my most wished for feature would be proper ice chains instead of tires with them on. In the options menu having the option to add or remove when wanted, instead of being stuck with chained in icy maps.
That would be nice, just how it works in real life.
And many paths needs the best mud tire and chains, like in Amur where I'm now.

Yes, I am a bit worried about the way that Expeditions is drifting towards the more arcade style of offroading. Like you said, the manual gearbox will probably not be integrated into Expeditions.

I would love to have more tasks to improve the roads. 👍 not just bridges, also mud holes and 💩 like that should get fixed so we dont get stuck at the same place 100 times…

If they added the ability to do raod trains, devs would then double the amount of material required for each mission.
Yup. Also the current maps are not ready for this feature. In most of them even 8 slot trailer is too big and too long, so road trains would be just unplayable - especially when trying to reverse or maneuver in bases. Only putting a double trailer as a special one (like movie studio trailer) that you must take from one place to another make sense
Also, they would also need to change the layout for the maps to make the more road-train friendly, as they are already a pain to take the 8-slot trailer through.
I don't know if this much a fix for the manual gears but this is my settings and I use the Logitech G923 wheel and shifter so
Controller I put steering wheel on it settings
Then steering wheel I use the Thrustmaster setting and keep paired pedals off or they won't work for some reason but if you then go to gears in the settings and all done on the shifter
Neutral button 8 or reverse
Auto button 13 or gear 5
Reverse button 14 or gear 6
High gear button 12 or gear 4
Low- button 9 or gear 1
Low gear button 10 or gear 2
Low+ button 11 or gear 3 hope it helps everyone

Yes like Cat 681 or HX 520. And I think there should be 3 trucks in every DLC , not 2. In Kola, Yukon, Wiskonsin and Glades were 3 trucks.

There will be a year 4 pass AND expeditions, the next SnowRunner game.
I love to be able to look at the views and take screenshots but cannot cause if I look anywhere but down I get dashboarded by like a rock a tree the sky or the water or mud like I cannot enjoy this game at all anymore it been out for 3 going on 4 yrs and it trash was great but now

Having issue with the mods not downloading on ps5
That is so annoying! I had this issue as well. You can try logging out from mod.io in SnowRunner, then logging back in. This fixed it for me (I am on PS5 aswell)

Fix the crashes first of all, its unplayable.
First of all they need to fix the game on Xbox. It's currently crashing every 5 minutes. Lots of people have this issue.
