Lady Africa is a beautiful boat. You both did an amazing job completely rebuilding her. Sad to see her being sold, but life is a continuously changing adventure and I hope who ever buys Lady Africa loves her as much as you guys. Take care and have a great week.
So, we both started our huge multihull project at around the same time...u launched a bit before us...and we almost sold on the same day :) Trimaran Hot Sauce was sold this week! U probably felt a bit sad but of course a relief as well to take next step in life...just like me and Karin. All the best to you from Sailing Trimaran Hot Sauce!
Definitely! It was sad but a great relief at the same time.. It's such a weird feeling right, haha. Congrats on the sale guys, and good luck with the future endeavors .
Very impressive work on that cat. My wife follows your channel. She was very sad realizing that she has another two years before she retires and this beautiful vessel is on the market now. Me, I retired last year and I'm just waiting for her to finish up so we can coastal cruise the Caribbean. I had to come over and check out your tour video to see what she was going on about. Great job on that Dean, someone is going to be a very happy owner of that vessel. Just keeping up the maintenance on her and she shouldn't loose any boat value, and that's very rare when it comes to boats. Best wishes on the next chapter of your adventures.
Good luck, guys! I think we are all looking for a new set of sails - or new adventures! - in the northern or southern hemispheres. nice boat! I remember when you were working on her.
You have done such an excellent job rebuilding and refitting SV Lady Africa. I swear manufacturers could learn a thing or two from you. If I had the money I'd seriously consider it.
watched the whole series , been amazing watch you two grow and learn rebuilding lady africa, hope you get a quick sale and look forward to the next adventures land based
Hi Ricky and Samone . I surely hope you two continue to post videos even if it means you are going back to land life . I been following you since the rebuild and I love the content you been putting out . From the Atlantic crossing to cruising around the Caribbean . The boat looks amazing , you guys did such a great job rebuilding her . She will sell quickly . All the best to you in your new adventures .
I remember when you were buying a regular diesel engine and making it a marine engine, then Vetus stepped in and cut you a great deal, really picked up the overall morale. Your price is extremely competitive because of the Vetus engines, Victron and Raymarine equipment are expensive, and Ricky did some great work, I mean look at those bilges.
Watched the rebuild from start to finish, fantastic - popped into the V&A (CTN) when you were moored there, but you were "not home" at the time. Friend at PNYC on Vaal Dam has the Dean 260 which I helped to refit. Sold my 23 footer on Vaal Dam a year ago, now (e) mountain biking :-) All the best in your new adventures - please teach the Yanks that "Nou gaan ons BRAAI !!!!"
Ohhh man. I started watching yall when yall kicked off the refit. Sure am gonna miss watching the boat life stuff. But congratulations on new adventures!!!!
You guys built a beautiful boat. Sorry you are selling it. Samone i enjoy the music you play ! Ricky is a talented guy and im sure the next endeavor will be successful ! Please keep updating us !
Hey guys, I'm still going to expect a video once and awhile. We really feel like we have gotten to know y'all. I mean it seems like we watched the whole rebuild, which was pretty interesting and fun. Stay safe and in touch with us, we are going to be watching and waiting. We love y'all.👍🏻👍🏻💕🐾
It’s the end of another adventure and on to the next…I have watched you from the very start…and always enjoyed your adventures and hard work….you are both talented and amazing young people. May you be blessed by our Lord Jesus as you move into your next phase of life. Keep looking up!
sad to c the lady go but hope this isnt the end of ur adventures..hope to c ur family grow.. also hoping u get a bigger boat again with ur family...good lck n hugs remember how much we al love u....
Everything looks impeccable and ready for potentially endless comfortable adventures. Any mariner would appreciate the acces to all her neatly laid out systems for practical, hassle free maintenance, inspection and control. A quality build prioritising high level effortless maintenance sets her apart so you can afford to spend more time enjoying the fun stuff.
I'm surprised that you will sell your beautiful boat. I watched you rebuild Lady Africa, put in New motors and all the new equipment, are your stopping cruising?. Thank you for all the great videos.
FYI: If you haven't followed them from the beginning or want to know more about this boat go back and look at the entire rebuild series and you will appreciate exactly what has gone into rebuilding this boat. They will be asking full price for the boat as it is NOT a project boat, does not have any issues whatsoever with her and as they sated is ready to sail immediately after purchase. ITs basically what we call a turnkey boat filled with everything needed to start sailing today! And for those wondering WHY they are selling this amazing boat, first, they are not getting a divorce as some have speculated. Ricky and Simone are one of the most solid couples you will ever find! They have alwasy had a dream of moving to the USA and now that dream has become a reality. They also have family already in the USA so this transition was alwasy been part of the journey for them. Obviously its expensive to live in the US and they are wanting to start their family and move into their new home and begin the next the next phase of their lives as a family. To be honest I would NOT be surprised if we see a new home building project as he has extensive work building homes from back when Ricky lived in South Africa! Ricky and Simone are amazing people and I am sure this next phase of their journey will be very exciting. My prayers and blessings are with them no matter what they decide to "film" next.
It's a bargain for the price. I don't think you are getting back the value you have put into her. It is very well set up even better than mine. Definitely the world's best Dean 365!!! André in Sydney

Lady Africa has been SOLD! ❤
Watched you from the start! The state of the boat is a credit to both of you. It displays your hard work and attitude to doing things right. Totseins.
Thanks so much David 😊

I was with you almost the entire journey. So wish I were in a position to buy Lady Africa. Hope it finds some nice new owners.
Thanks so much Ian 💛
I LOVE the white and bright interior!

IF my horse comes in... I'll make you an offer. But... like with scuba diving... never hold your breath! Thank you Ricky! And Simone.

Why are you selling after you put so much love and work into her? Beautiful boat?
Someone didn't finish the whole video 😉 We're moving back to land on a new adventure.
GOOD LUCK

Hi Thom. For now, we're gonna go to land life and have a new adventure 😊
You are selling 2 years too early for me. It is such a beautiful boat.

How much were they asking?
@@willyum1208that’s what I wanna know
In the Mediterranean you could easily achieve at least 20% higher purchase price.
Wow
Why are you selling the boat? You getting a bigger cat?
Divorce?..
