Walkthrough of a 6m x 5m Man Cave Garden Room in Horsham with Pool Table, Bar and Feature Wall

Measuring 6m x 5m this structure has been designed with maximum space in mind, keeping the options open for future functionality, which is important should the clients wish to move on at any stage.
This project has been completed to our exacting standards as always, and has the following features:
- Concrete Venetian Plaster feature wall with liquid metal detailing by the guys @signaturewalls
- Patina Amtico flooring to compliment the wall
- 1m wraparound canopy overhang
- 1m side return walls
- 1m wraparound composite decking
- Aluminium framed bifold doors in anthracite grey
- 2 x fixed full-height windows, 600mm x 2m, in anthracite grey
- blinds integrated into the glass on doors and windows for maximum privacy
- up and downlighters on either side of bifold doors
- lights in the canopy
- lights in decking
- exterior lights controlled by a remote control setup
- 3 x decorative wall lamps on feature wall
- decorative anthracite grey wall-mounted heater
This provides a modern, stylish space to hang out with friends and achieves the wow factor at each stage when friends come to visit

Just beautiful work! Cost per square meter? Here in San Diego, CA I’d bet it would cost around $3766 per sq meter.

Do you need to get planing or building permission to make this Garden room?
I live in Tolworth and would like to build 6mtr x4mtr garden shed/workshop, however not sure if I need any permissions

For most cases you will not as it should fall under permitted development
Double check with your local authoirty or developer to see if there's any restrictions attched to your property
This could be the case if you live in a conservation area, AONB or the devlopment had conditions attached when built
If you plan to add a toilet or wet services this will also require planning
