Not gonna lie, this threw a real wet blanket over my feelings of support for her. Still a fan, but considerably less ardent. I don't have a big social circle, but the few who I've talked to are saying the same. Totally her right to express her feelings in either direction, however. Am thinking it will definitely impact her fan support, although to what extent remains to be seen.

When that reporter asked her about it in the presser, she simply encouraged people to register and vote. I wouldn't read anything more into her like, or her comments, than that. I'd be REALLY surprised if she did endorse someone publicly. OTOH, she being a highly educated person, I expect she'll do her research and vote accordingly. I don't agree with the comments about athletes staying out of politics. They are active citizens like the rest of us and they can have strong opinions about policies and positions.
