I have had my fair share of lengthy breaks from Genshin as for all those who play every day all year it’s no wonder ull get bored and hate the game whenever I hate the game I just stop playing and go on a break I believe taking breaks is important ngl and I cycle breaks with different games so I’m always keeping up with 2 or less at once cause I believe it’s just as bad to be playing 4 games at once

I came back to Genshin after quitting around 2 months after launch and you've been my go to for any guides or opinions on characters and builds, even if you have a bias for as to why you hype someone up you'll make sure to make it perfectly clear that you have that bias. You're currently the only Genshin creator I "usually" watch, precisely because I also vibe with actually playing the game for fun and being chill about it, and yeah it's nice to have strong teams but at the end of the day, I can't be bothered to care enough about the meta (don't worry, I have decent enough teams to clear mostly anything so far, I play since 1.2 so I like to think I know what I'm doing ), sure I'll watch a few minutes of zjeff once in a while, but I don't really care about all the detailed math and the whole bigger number better mentality, and don't get me wrong I think it's super cool work and I appreciate that someone is out there figuring this stuff out, but I do prefer a more chill, casual and mostly drama free approach such as yours. Jello, thanks for this video. Thank you for being the difference. I started playing this game for many reasons, but mostly to have an activity to get closer to my nephew. We actually never ended up playing together but the game grew on me. It provides an escape from the crazyiness that can be life. I had played DCUO for years and made some very good friends, lifelong it would seem. I played the first year as F2P, but then decided, as I have no other vices, I was worth spending money on, so I spent when I wanted to. What particularly struck me is that you are one of the only CC for Genshin that actually enjoys the game. I personally still enjoy the game, so I find value in it. I cannot understand why anyone would continue to watch someone who continually plays a game they obviously do not like. Consequently, it becomes a model for their communities behavior and then their entire channel is nothing but non stop Genshin hating club, but they still play the game. It was ruining my enjoyment of the game as well as tolerance of people. I know that games change and even the amount of joy a game gives you may change. I still love DCUO and will always appreciate the good times, even though I don't play much anymore. I had great time there with no regrets. I am sure I will feel the same way about Genshin. I am glad that I found one of the few CC that actually enjoys the game and keeps the energy positive and hopeful . I wish you streamed more of your gameplay because there are not a lot of Genshin streamers that are excited about the game. Every Genshin CCs that still covers the game but still dislikes playing the game is so disingenuous and hypocritical. You're my favorite Genshin CC in terms of guides. I'm really glad there's someone genuine like you still in the community and not being parasites. As someone who plays many hard games like every of Fromsoft games (Dark Souls, Elden Ring) and platinum it, Genshin is my comfort game, the place for me to play and relax. I am SO with you on that proposed endgame idea. People that just want fast primos will complain as usual, but a "simulated universe" type repeatable dungeon that leverages Genshin's greatest strength (exploration content) is such a fun sounding idea to me.

It's somewhat crazy how I'm thinking to become a creator myself, inspired by you (even I am already testing characters on my own and then I saw more of your videos) and by some tectone creators drama. I started genshin on 3.5 so very lately.
Jello! I'm trying to get out of where I'm working at the moment and I've always wanted to try making content as something I love and feel like I know well. The biggest part holding me back is knowing that I won't have the financial stability to support a good, hard try and fear of how failure would affect my life and career in the future. I know your unfortunate circumstances being laid off were the biggest catalyst for you, but what would you say were the biggest influencing factors as far as knowing that this was a risk worth taking for you and what advice would you give to someone in my situation? Would you advise your past self to take the same route of content creation if there was no guarantee of success? you can always make it on the side until you have proof of concept if i didn't build the channel on the side I wouldn't have been able to try making it full time

Quite interesting to hear where you are coming from. Sales has probably been the best that could have had happened to you to prepare you for your call in life to be a content creator. You had to go out there, face people straight up. Overcome your awkwardness, shyness, fear, and unlock your personality. If you learned to overcome fear meeting people irl, some online people with mean comments won't scare you at all. But unless you were a complete natural, it must have been difficult to aquire these skills. For me this is the ultimate challange. And I know this is the area that I have to work on the most. I literally learned everything but that for UA-cam lol. I am pretty much the guy tectone mentioned. 0 charisma dude with 1.5k sub dude reading off of a notepad but getting half a million views on a guide. :D At least I did got that on my first Genshin channel. Nowadays you just don't make that type of views just like that on Genshin. So it is even more important than ever to be a great communicator.

By far the one most “real” Genshin CC’s out there, always my go-to for anything involving the game. Keep up the good work brother. Also building Lego is Based, double based if it’s Star Wars.

Grats on 50k! My kids play Genshin with me... I got them cheap used PS4s because a phone or a computer are too expensive and I'd need two of them. My kids are 10 and 8 and they absolutely love the anime style characters. Now, I just need to get my spouse on board and it's a whole family activity.

Tbh I still think Furina will hold the meta hostage even after Murata comes out. If she's Dps power creep, then she'll work with furina unless she's like Arlecchino with her bol. If she's Bennett power creep, then she might synergise with Furina. Whatever her kit is, I think her and Furina will rule the meta together with furina having the slight edge( probably because she's hydro and has a hard kit to power creep). Also, nice Q&A!

I hope Hoyo make someone like that with dual wielding swords like samurai one is long and short katana respectively like Musashi but anemo I would totally pull for a character like that Edit: That mode with exploration with end game sounds amazing as well I really hope they make it, Honkai Impact 3rd have Elyshian Realm where you get buffs the futher you go but its pretty hard to clear at max difficulty lol I really hope Genshin do make new end game content like you said in the way you said
I'm genuinely shocked how close together our ideal characters are. I've had the idea for a long time about an Anemo sword-wielder who gained an Anemo infusion, but their infusion was also their Absorption mechanic - striking with both Anemo and the absorbed element, and capable of absorbing multiple elements. Lynette could have done this really well if her C6 was part of the base kit, with her 4 different element buff passive, and a change to her ult to make it capable of absorbing multiple elements and firing with one vivid shot per element absorbed. Now that Lynette isn't that, an Inazuma character would be my personal favorite choice, as well as Teal being my favorite color lol. I've also had the idea that they'd have an ascension passive that let them gain % damage of the element absorbed equal to their Anemo % damage. Additionally as their other ascension passive, or maybe a C1 or something, that let them 'spread' resistance shred on enemies they swirl - so if an enemy had an Anemo res shred from Faruzan or an elemental res shred from VV, all enemies swirled would get an elemental/Anemo res shred applied equal to the Anemo/elemental shred, respectively.
I love the fact that you as well, play DnD. I think you might be a pretty good DM! Congrats on bringing your friends together for the excuse of playing!
A character that could absorb elements by swirling and then releasing that elemental damage would be awesome! I'd definitely get them if they got added!
My sweet spot is 2 accounts with welkin. Essentially I get the meta defining supports on both accounts and then everything else I split up. If you plan things out you'll have very litte overlap in terms of 5 Stars you pull. I've been playing since 1.2 and I always have something to build or to look forward to on at least 1 account. It's also enabled me to make some not so optimal decisions, like going for C6 Goruo on Eu and C6 Faruzan on NA. Of course you still can't get all the characters, but you get to pull a limited 5 Star each patch on at least 1 account.
My best experience on genshin is when I play solo, cuz i Don't like co-oping or interacting with the community, but this is an exception lol, love this channel ❤

Housing is VERY expensive in Canada. I live in Saskatchewan, it's awful. So many houses are either 50+ years old or brand new, so you're buying either a repair job or a half-million 2 bedroom house. As someone who is disabled, I hope one day I can be happy in my work and no longer worry about money every day.

It's somewhat crazy how I'm thinking to become a creator myself, inspired by you (even I am already testing characters on my own and then I saw more of your videos) and by some tectone creators drama. I started genshin on 3.5 so very lately.

Jello! I'm trying to get out of where I'm working at the moment and I've always wanted to try making content as something I love and feel like I know well. The biggest part holding me back is knowing that I won't have the financial stability to support a good, hard try and fear of how failure would affect my life and career in the future. I know your unfortunate circumstances being laid off were the biggest catalyst for you, but what would you say were the biggest influencing factors as far as knowing that this was a risk worth taking for you and what advice would you give to someone in my situation? Would you advise your past self to take the same route of content creation if there was no guarantee of success?

You were one of the first genshin CCs that I actually got hooked to and followed along with. Something about your guides just makes it really relatable. Watching your videos also inspired me to be more confident in voicing my own opinions and be more open minded.
Quite interesting to hear where you are coming from. Sales has probably been the best that could have had happened to you to prepare you for your call in life to be a content creator.
You had to go out there, face people straight up. Overcome your awkwardness, shyness, fear, and unlock your personality. If you learned to overcome fear meeting people irl, some online people with mean comments won't scare you at all. But unless you were a complete natural, it must have been difficult to aquire
these skills. For me this is the ultimate challange. And I know this is the area that I have to work on the most. I literally learned everything but that for UA-cam lol. I am pretty much the guy tectone mentioned. 0 charisma dude with 1.5k sub dude reading off of a notepad but getting half a million views on a guide. :D At least I did got that on my first Genshin channel. Nowadays you just don't make that type of views just like that on Genshin. So it is even more important than ever to be a great communicator.

@JelloImpact Yep 200k is a unicorn. Last time I had that happen with Juices channel. 200k on Acheron. But that is as far as it gets right now. On a peak hype character.

I started playing again a bit after Fontaine launched and the game had changed so much since I stopped. Your vibe of informed advice and opinions that don't go too hard on math and optimization was really great for getting back into the swing of things. My kids play Genshin with me... I got them cheap used PS4s because a phone or a computer are too expensive and I'd need two of them. My kids are 10 and 8 and they absolutely love the anime style characters. Now, I just need to get my spouse on board and it's a whole family activity.

Tbh I still think Furina will hold the meta hostage even after Murata comes out. If she's Dps power creep, then she'll work with furina unless she's like Arlecchino with her bol. If she's Bennett power creep, then she might synergise with Furina. Whatever her kit is, I think her and Furina will rule the meta together with furina having the slight edge( probably because she's hydro and has a hard kit to power creep). Also, nice Q&A!

Edit: That mode with exploration with end game sounds amazing as well I really hope they make it, Honkai Impact 3rd have Elyshian Realm where you get buffs the futher you go but its pretty hard to clear at max difficulty lol I really hope Genshin do make new end game content like you said in the way you said

I'm genuinely shocked how close together our ideal characters are. I've had the idea for a long time about an Anemo sword-wielder who gained an Anemo infusion, but their infusion was also their Absorption mechanic - striking with both Anemo and the absorbed element, and capable of absorbing multiple elements. Lynette could have done this really well if her C6 was part of the base kit, with her 4 different element buff passive, and a change to her ult to make it capable of absorbing multiple elements and firing with one vivid shot per element absorbed.
Now that Lynette isn't that, an Inazuma character would be my personal favorite choice, as well as Teal being my favorite color lol. I've also had the idea that they'd have an ascension passive that let them gain % damage of the element absorbed equal to their Anemo % damage. Additionally as their other ascension passive, or maybe a C1 or something, that let them 'spread' resistance shred on enemies they swirl - so if an enemy had an Anemo res shred from Faruzan or an elemental res shred from VV, all enemies swirled would get an elemental/Anemo res shred applied equal to the Anemo/elemental shred, respectively.
I came to your channel just bc you weren't one of those Genshin content creators that dislike the game. I have stayed since.

A character that could absorb elements by swirling and then releasing that elemental damage would be awesome! I'd definitely get them if they got added!
My sweet spot is 2 accounts with welkin. Essentially I get the meta defining supports on both accounts and then everything else I split up. If you plan things out you'll have very litte overlap in terms of 5 Stars you pull. I've been playing since 1.2 and I always have something to build or to look forward to on at least 1 account. It's also enabled me to make some not so optimal decisions, like going for C6 Goruo on Eu and C6 Faruzan on NA. Of course you still can't get all the characters, but you get to pull a limited 5 Star each patch on at least 1 account.
My best experience on genshin is when I play solo, cuz i Don't like co-oping or interacting with the community, but this is an exception lol, love this channel ❤

Housing is VERY expensive in Canada. I live in Saskatchewan, it's awful. So many houses are either 50+ years old or brand new, so you're buying either a repair job or a half-million 2 bedroom house. As someone who is disabled, I hope one day I can be happy in my work and no longer worry about money every day.
