I have a 2004 MR2 5 spd manual. Black on black leather. I also have the rear wing. Cool car that's fun to drive. I have owned it for 10 summers and will never get rid of it. Good to see others enjoy their Spyder on the open road with the top down.
Bought mine last fall, fixed it up and it’s just an amazing handling car even in stock form. You just can’t get a true mid engine car for any cheaper. I wanted a S2k but they are just going for crazy prices. I lucked out and “settled” for my MR2.
Yes, MR2 is a good affordable convertible car to own. S2000 is way over priced! I imported mine from North Carolina last summer all in mint condition. It has gone through some upgrades but nothing serious or major.
I bought mine off eBay from Florida. 68k miles on it. No reserve auction. Had it shipped to Maine and then brought it across the border to New Brunswick. Zero regrets. .I have bought and sold nice BMWs since then, but I keep the MR2 because its simple, reliable and fun. .
