I know her 😅😅😅 when I was a little girl in Amuwo, she gives me food for free and I helped her a lot and I knew she would give me food later. When I grew up I travelled abroad each year I come home on holiday, I bring perfume for her. She was too good a neighborur, I remember how it was named Belgium.
I am 58yrs today I pray one day to meet this my Angel that fed me in my childhood 🙏🙏🙏

I specially congratulate my mother, our mother, the CEO Belgium Foods - Alhaji Abizat Falana - and the entire FALANA Family.
May Allah's rahmah and noor continue to abide by the family.
I believe I was one of the first customers the very first 3 days she started, we moved to the estate at the same time and my dad Pa Egbowon was the estate chairman. I know the whole family. Iya isiaka is very dedicated, we named the place Belgium because of the amount of foreign cars parked by car importers from Belgium on a daily basis. I’m very proud of her.

The inside story of Belgium foods. I was there at the beginning, the good days is full of memories of dedication and preseverance to succeed when my dearest mum will make the food and we'll help her to hawk it to the taxi park at dubar junction. It was the early years of the construction of Jakande estate when the workers are in short of food supply.
The advantage came and many of them started coming around to patronize her for food. The food network started growing and this brought many people especially students from only boys and people around the environ to come and patronize her because of the quality of the food and availability of varieties.
To God be the glory the name Belgium came from customers who never felt disappointed in the quality and varieties of food served.
The success story of Belgium Foods is monumental and this can be traced to the organizational and operational skills that was applied by our late dad Alh. Yusuff Amuda Falana (Baba Belgium) may his soul continue to rest in peace, he introduced many mechanism to ease the difficult angle of the business.
Today, Belgium foods through different transformation have grown to an household name in Nigeria and abroad and by the grace and mercy of God Belgium foods branch office has opened at Ago palace way okota Lagos since 2015.
The success story is endless and praise to the Almighty Allah who is the foundation and the strength of the business.
Appreciating all the customers both old and new for their support and steadfastness with our brand. We are totally grateful for keeping us in business with your prayers and patronage.

I used used to live in Jakande Estate, Mile2, the same estate as Mama's restaurant, before I moved to the UK 19 years ago. I used to eat there with my friends but I haven't been there since because I didn't know that the restaurant was still around. I hope now that every time I visit Nigeria I visit the restaurant. I'm so happy for Mama. May she live long to serve many more customers.

wow!wow!wow! Such an inspiration Alhaja Abisatu and Belgium has been to Small and medium Scale Business Owner like me, you need to constantly eat at belgium to understand what consistency means,from the taste of the spicy goat meat stew
,to the that of the bean stew, the gbegiri and ewedu and my latest addiction the fried rice oh yum yum (my favorite)...

My grand mom of blessed memory was very successful in food consumption and sale business in plateau state. My grad mom business and work ethic is like iya Basira own. At the apex of her flourishing food business. She had hotels ,houses she owned due to business as a food trader. She is late now, I pray God comforts her
