Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and St. Joseph’s Irish Roots. ☘️ 🇮🇪 💚 St. Joseph’s Health had the pleasure of celebrating with our Sponsors, the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, in recognition of their Irish Heritage. We honored Mother Mary Xavier Mehegan, an Irish immigrant who founded St. Joseph’s Hospital in 1867 to provide healthcare for the immigrant population, and all of the sisters who have followed in her footsteps. Fast forward 156 years, St. Joseph’s Health is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and fulfilling the same mission to provide high-quality medical care with compassion to our community.
