2 years later I learned not too long ago that the sphinx was actually made to resemble a lion's body with the king's face as the head. Had to search for videos for college and stumbled upon your comment hope you're living an amazing life!
The nose on the Egyptian Spinx was flat and broad not narrow so that drawing is not accurate I have old photos of what the original Egyptian Spinx statues looked like they had flat wide broad noses and big lips very similar to features that most people of Black African descent have. This is one reason why Europeans destroyed the noses and lips.
back in the day the sphinx was a dog just look at the proportions they have shaped the modern head from the remains of the dog head that is why the head is so tiny

This is just false🤣🤣 Khufu was merely restoring the sphinx…..why would they be restoring a fresh monument? And why are the walls of the sphinx enclosure far more weathered than the sphinx itself!?
