31 August 2021: Dear "2" This melody in your hands is hauntingly lovely. You express the plaintive quality of it with all its desire and longing and surrender to what is: with or without you...either way, a tug of war at the heart.
My Dad loved U2, this song in particular. He passed away last week, and I had them play this at his funeral. Absolutely beautiful!!!!!! I listen to it daily!!!
May his memory be eternal and live on through this music.
My daughter is a ballerina, this is our dance. Its amazing how this song wakes your spirit up. What a great song to remember your father, what a great daughter!

This is so pretty... sweet and poignantly sad. "And you give, and you give, and you give yourself awaaaaaay.... " Beautiful ... thank you... for giving yourselves away. Across the decades I have heard this song. I never really understood it like I do now. It's lamenting and full of love, not giving up even with no end in sight... but finding a resolve to stay in it till resolution comes. Lovely.

The most perfectly in tune string players on earth!!Some girly waffled on to me about a million years ago how amazing Pablo Casals was as a cellist...Couldn't listen to him for more than 5 seconds.These guys are absolutely pitch perfect..even on the triple stops.
