Of all the videos I watched to use the needle threader & pulling the bobbin thread up (this is the first machine I have ever had with an automatic needle threader and top bobbin), this was finally the one that allowed for my success. Thank you for not only clarity and great tips but providing a camera view by which I could become successful. I have been so excited to get this Jazz II for all of my quilting projects and your video made all the difference. I highly recommend anyone with a Jazz II to use your tutorial. I can't wait to try more!
I just recently purchased a Jazz II and did so because your video's around this product are beyond excellent. You are a wonderful, helpful instructor. Thank you for making this easy for a newbie.
This is the only video that explains what the #2 for threading pathway is....the double needle, and it doesn't matter which side the thread comes down with a single needle use. It also explains that the thread goes UNDER the metal plate in step #1, took a while to figure that out! The only suggestion I have is to use a dark thread, red or black, to demonstrate. It would be easier to see! Thank you!
I totally agree with the comments, my bobbin tension has been an issue for me especially when using fine fabric, and you solved that problem for me, same with cotton coming over the top to wind onto the bobbin, often instruction manuals dont solve the problems.
Thank you, I just bought a previously loved one, and though I followed the book and guide, you had a couple of things that weren't in there that I am going to use.
I have had thread break a few times, and today had thread break off on stay in the uptake and tension discs, so I had to take the front body piece off to get it out. Is there anything to prevent this?
There are two things I'd think to check if the thread wrapped around the spindle instead of the bobbin: 1. ensure you put the thread through the hole from the inside of the bobbin to the outside when loading the thread onto it. 2:25 2. Make sure you have the extra thread tail coming off of the top of the bobbing when you load it onto the machine. 2:30
I noticed that you have the thread coming off the spool from underneath...the diagrams show to have it come over the top. I have issues winding my bobbins when having the thread come over the spool as the diagrams show. Is this why?
When the Thread comes off the back, it reduces the chance it could catch on itself while coming off the spool. Also, we are using a cross-wound spool, which is designed for the thread to easily pull off the top. But It most definitely could cause more issues if you have the thread coming off the front. Hope this helps!
Omg thank you so much I bought a jazz 2 and had no clue how to thread it

Best how to thread out there! Thank you!
Yay! Great to hear!

Happy we could offer some extra insight!
Thank you
You're welcome!

Try holding the thread tails for the first couple of stitches when you start your seam. Hope this helps.
I just got the machine however when I wound the bobbin it started to spin and then the thread was underneath the bobbin. What did I do wrong?
