I really want to find out what people use to study Indonesian online and what are their perception on the best techniques to learn Indonesian. I will use this finding to develop a learning language website. I talked to my supervisor about my topic, and he said that I need to link it with my degree. I think I can argue that this research is a feasibility study of my future project. Apart from that, I am struggling to find the connection between Project Management and my research topic. What if my supervisor is not suggesting me any topics and asking me to do it on my own. I am here wondering what topic i need to search. master thesis is like a nightmare now. . . How do I search for a research topic i am left with only 3 months to present my final papers.

Because you are much more dependent on luck and goodwill for a good thesis result, than with other topics. If you implement an algorithm and it works well, all is fine. If it does not, however, it is hard to get good marks for that. And the key point is that there are reasons for you implementation working poorly that are beyond your control and thus should not count into you mark: 1) is the algorithm (often part of the thesis topic made by your supervisor) suitable for the problem at hand at all? 2) Implementation is often not greenfield, but brownfield by having to extend code from previous student generations. If that has not been properly documented, tested, ... you can get mired in coding problems that your supervisor is probably not aware of, are not really part of your topic but must be fixed in order to progress, ...
In principle, you can create your own topic (and also with a specific application in mind). However, you need to then find a supervisor that is interested in supervising this topic. thanks for your response, i wasn't really expecting anything since the video is from 2015 ..... in new zealand for the bachelor's thesis you have to build something make it work and then write about it and it seems very different for masters thesis, like you don't actually have to build something and get it work to get awarded the masters ..... is this true ?

From my experience, the differences between requirements for Bachelor and Master theses vary much more based on university and group within university, than between Bachelor thesis and Master thesis in general. So I am afraid that you have to ask around in your university.
