I really adore your She Shed! It's organized very well and I like the xolor. Very satisfying feeling! 😁 Also, it's great that you've got so much natural light coming in!
Oh Wow !! I Love your Shed!! Your like me Gotta Lotta Stuff but yours is so Homey & organized! Thanks so much for the inspiration! You are definitely in my “Saved” Pile!! ❤✌️
I have the original big Gemini- not the giantest one but it's big. Very heavy. I REALLY wanted the new one that was a special on HSN a few weeks ago because it would be easier to maneuver, but I couldn't justify the cost when I have a perfectly good machine. I liked seeing your array of goodies TFS 😊
@Kellie Harrison You're in Nebraska. How do you keep your shed warm in the winter? I'm in California and have a hard time keeping mine warm. I'm in the mountains.
@Rocky Road Creations i have one of those little space heaters and it does ok until it gets to below 0. That's when i really can't be out there because it's too cold. And i have to bring some of my mixed media inside the house especially my art glitter glue. I try to put plastic over the windows but since I don't have "window frames" they don't stick to the inside. Next winter, I might try going on the outside. Now if mini splits weren't so expensive. In the summer, I use a window AC to keep it cool.
Yeah, see… I LOVE the “everything out and chaotically rainbow pretty” craftrooms better than the all white, everything hidden IKEA ones ❤️❤️❤️ Yours is beautiful! Whooo, I’m sub #111 🤗🤗
Thanks for sharing your she shed. Love the organized chaos! Where did you get the rolling cart under your desk that holds your 12x12 paper on the bottom shelf?
I just recently got my she shed/ craft shed, I was wondering what you do with all your inks and things in the winter? Do you bring them inside? I won't have a heat source in the winter. I'm just wondering if I should leave my inks and paints in the house. I love your she shed and I think it is beautiful ❤️
I actually got it from work, no one wanted it anymore so I brought it home. It actually had a small stapler in it too, staples between the size of the tim holtz size and regular size. But I'm sure staples, amazon or office max might have something similar.
Hi..I live in Nebraska and it is pretty hot and humid during the summers..do you keep the dehumidifier running all the time in your she shed? I have to keep our dehumidifier running all summer and my craft room is in the house. Do you have a mini air conditioner somewhere in your she shed?
The dehumidifier runs mostly just in the summer because you know in winter it's so dry here. When it gets hot, I'll put a window AC in and it will keep it very cool in there.
Yes i have a mini electric heater and it works pretty well until it gets to the negative temperatures then I can't stand to be in there. It's just too cold
I have a question about the weather in your she shed. My husband built one for me, just like yours. Hindsight, I would have done without the porch and used more space. Anyway, I can’t use my shed because the extreme cold and heat has ruined my supplies. I had to move into the house. Does your supplies stand up to the weather? I lost tape, and glues and Nuvo mousse and numerous other mixed media type stuff. It made my vintage paper even more brittle. How long have you been in your shed? Thank you.
Yeah i kind of wish i had a smaller porch but I love my porch to sit and read. The heat isn't really a problem because I have a window ac i use in the summer. But the humidity was a problem at first, so I got the dehumidifier. But the extreme cold is a problem. Anything below 0 it's just so cold. But it hasnt ruined anything other than my art glitter glue. I got my shed in February of 2021 so I'm going on my 3rd year in it.
@@kelliescraftythumb do you have to keep the ac running, even when you are not in it? I had to, but that became to expensive. I also have a skylight in mine, which was an other, I wish I didn’t get, and it adds a lot of heat. I put my doll houses I build, out in the shed and the glue holding the faux foundation, is coming off and so is the siding I put on it. And the railing spindles are falling apart because the glue isn’t holding up in the heat or cold, I don’t know which. I wish I could enjoy my shed more. I am glad yours is working out for you. Happy crafting.
@@libertylost8286 If you use the shed, you need to keep the AC on all the time, that is one downside you have to put up with. I have mine running all day and night but mine is a mini split unit which it is more energy efficient. Otherwise, you will loose supplies constantly. The issue is the extreme temperatures and humidity. I only turn it off occasionally when the weather is dry enough and the temps are around the high 60's to low 70's.
@@vaderladyl That is why I had to move into the house. It was to expensive to keep either the heat or air always running. My shed is so beautiful too. It is just used as an expensive storage shed. I do keep the doll houses I build in it and extra paper and ribbon. Our weather can get very cold and very hot. There are very few months I could without either air or heat. On the bright side, I am now closer to the bathroom. 🤣
Doesn't your glitter glues, reinkers, nuvo drops get ruined by sitting by a window, with direct sunlight? Your shed doesn't look like its insulated? How does it not ruin your stuff? Especially in freezing weather. I have a shed, but opted to have my craftroom in basement, since its tempeture sits at 65 degrees all year long. But I do run a little heater when weather calls for 40 or below, which doesn't happen to much here.
It is insulated, and it stays pretty warm until it gets down to negative temperatures. But anything that would have issues if it freezes, I take in the house in the winter. Especially my art glitter glue. I use a space heater to keep it warm. This will be my third full winter and I manage. The only part that needs better insulation is the ceiling and floor but the walls have fiberglass insulation, thick wood and corragated metal.

Love this. I'm in the process of decluttering my shed studio.
Yes it's definitely hard to declutter and reorganize. Good luck

Hello my name is Gail I have a craft shed too, trust I love yours but is so much organized better then mine lol
Yeah, see… I LOVE the “everything out and chaotically rainbow pretty” craftrooms better than the all white, everything hidden IKEA ones ❤️❤️❤️ Yours is beautiful!
Whooo, I’m sub #111 🤗🤗
I totally agree with you. Yeah the all white is pretty and all but just seems so unrealistic.
I’m in Loveland, takes me a bit to get to ikea, but it’s so worth the drive. ❤
Yeah I took a trip out in February 2021 and got most of my stuff, totally worth it because I enjoyed a weekend to myself.
Thanks for sharing your she shed. Love the organized chaos! Where did you get the rolling cart under your desk that holds your 12x12 paper on the bottom shelf?
I think you may have said market place
Yeah I got it off market place but it's from Totally Tiffany.

Where did you find the smaller spinning tool caddy? I’m looking for one and that looks like a good size. You have some cool vintage stuff.
I actually got it from work, no one wanted it anymore so I brought it home. It actually had a small stapler in it too, staples between the size of the tim holtz size and regular size. But I'm sure staples, amazon or office max might have something similar.

Does it get bugs?
Hello from another crafting Nebraskan!! I'm Omaha. Where are you from?
Is your shed heated for winter months?
Yes i have a mini electric heater and it works pretty well until it gets to the negative temperatures then I can't stand to be in there. It's just too cold
Our winters go to -39c and lower Id need a full furnace lol

Right now I'm really into junk journals but I scrapbook and make cards as well.
