So here goes, time to genuinely bare my soul to the world with an in depth tour of my messy craft shed! I absolutely love my craft room. I love creating and doing all the planning in my craft room. I absolutely hate tidying it up! I love to organise it and re-organise it, but then when it comes to finishing a project or working on my planner I just cannot be bothered to put things away!
I already accept that I have a huge shopping problem and I have way too many parcels arriving through my door which leads to insane planner haul videos, but this is the reality of the state I get myself into when I shop emotionally.
I am on a mission to declutter and organise my space so I can enjoy it more and get the creativity flowing again, and start to use up my planning supplies, scrapbooking and art journalling supplies rather than always buying new! I know many other craft room tours as immaculate, and I know they are lovely to look at, but I thought a behind the scenes of my craft room could be lots of fun to share!

I have a craft shed too. I could barely walk in so I got rid of stuff for projects I knew I wasn't going to do. I donated the stuff to the local hospice shop who raised nearly £500 & I fell back in love with my shed as I could properly use it.

If this shed was mine no doubt it would look the same lol. I’d go to tidy it up and then stand there staring at it for forever wondering where the hell to start, eventually start moving things find something interesting or fun and end up playing with it for the next 3 hours, then go and make a coffee and go bed lol
This is definitely what I do!! I only had my friend over in May to help me sort it and it’s already a mess again 😂 I feel like I need quarterly tours/clean up videos!

You should put your trinkets above your desk where nothing was and use all that shelf space for storage
I love that this is my empty wall, as I like having nothing distracting me whilst I’m crafting 😂 It is about my only wasted space though I admit !

The washi draws are Deflecto ones, you can get them on Amazon but sometimes they are out of stock!
The filing cabinet is an old brown cabinet that I got from an office clearance in exchange for charity donation. I painted it myself so it’s prettier lol
I have a beautiful pool house that was supposed to be my studio space. However, my son, a disabled veteran, had to end his service earlier than planned. My studio is currently housing him. He just graduated from university and has his first non-military job, but he has to go through a lot of steps. He is hoping to go back to his last base as a civilian to work for them, but until then, my stuff is all over the place. It is horrible as I have ADHD and OCD. I just can't keep it organized in a way that makes it easy for me to work. 🫠
