Yup. When I was young I dismantled my helmet and put it back together the night before each game. Made sure everything was on point.

Helmets came a long way from when I was a kid with the bar down the middle disrupting my vision. Plus the shoulder pads nowadays are way smaller...I had such a hard time in peewee catching the ball with those big shoulder pads
