I've been watching some other nail artists who do acrylic lately, and I find myself comparing their technique to Kirsty's. Practically shouting at the screen "YOU HAVE NO APEX!" lol.
The Family Stone since watching Kirsty, she inspired me to do my own nails. Anyhoo, I can now trouble shoot my nails figuring out which one has an apex or not haha
Absolutely love this idea of putting colour in my liquid, can't believe I never thought about this!! Absolutely love your videos and I'm so excited that tomorrow is payday and I can try out your gel polishes for the first time!! 😻
I have done that before and it turns out to be so beautiful. I love your videos and I have learn a lot with you. Thank you for sharing your videos. I love your personally and your style. Beautiful set of nails you did👍
ImMe B she is a grait artist . She is far beyond being a nail designer. she is a great artist. and it really appears that what she does comes from herself. And not like other designers, they copy something they learned. Kirsten does not anymore , she creates 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've done this with regular nail polish, and got amazing results. I call it stained glass, or rock candy if I make a crackle/icicle nail... I'll have to try it with gel polish next time. Gorgeous!!!! ❤️
Ooooo im glad to see you use these tips ive ad the same tips for nearly 2 years and never used them because i didnt know how to well now i do thanx Kirsty your brilliant love all your videos you brighten up my day with your off the wall clowing about and your brilliant nails keep it up girl lol xxx

Kirsty, I know this is an older video, but I just had to say that it kinda reminds me of stained glass. It is such a cool look! I love how you come up with things, you are so talented. Love your work! 💚🖌💅😍

Thank you so much for your videos!!! That colorized monomer trick was the best hint you show us for 2017!!! You lovely girl I suggest you to make little braids on the top of your hair!!! like these colours with braidss!!!kissessss from Greece!
Beautiful!!!!! I’m sure you could probably use a black sharpie to get the black sheer effect... I just might have to give that a test myself, I’ll let you know how that goes for me. Lolz 😝
Can I get the same effect if I were to mix a coloured acrylic powder with clear acrylic powder so that the colour is more transparent? Love your videos Kirsty ❤
How do you know how much and what you can add and alter in your acrylic without messing up the chemistry? For example, glitter in the powder, flowers under the acrylic, polish in the monomer.
@Nancy sanchez, those tips are called Mosaic tips, you can find them at amazon. I have the same tips and theyre so cute once you have made a cute clear kind of transparent design to reveal the tip design.
The little things that totally blow my mind sometimes... I swear! lol This is such a great idea. Both with the colored liquid & the textured tips. Could you use the colored liquid to make a transparent look like you did the other week, with the pink & the purple? Would it hold as well? I'm assuming so. I'd also assume it would end up being a bit stronger since it's being done with the clear acrylic instead of pigmented/colored acrylic... could be wrong.
very nice, I have had these for about 8 yrs.but they boggled my brain..I actually tried using color drops in acrylic on them, but the acrylic didn't show the design very well, almost threw the whole box out ..maybe I will try the drops of gel polish instead..Will adding the gel drops break down the polymer? Tfs...
gets me every time love the videos but i always cringe when cuticles start bleeding havent had a good experience with getting my nails done when that happens

Great idea 💡 it's obviously ok on the acrylic brush if you've used it. I thought it would have damaged the brush. Must try this 👌🏼
Sue Hoare maybe once the brush is contaminated she keeps it specifically for these hybrid blends
I love those tips.
hey Kirsty! Will you tell us what kind of bead you are picking up before you place it? not all the time but just for our information!

Could you get a similar effect by using your other method for transparent nails? Mixing color in clear powder?
Can I get the same effect if I were to mix a coloured acrylic powder with clear acrylic powder so that the colour is more transparent? Love your videos Kirsty ❤

Wonder what it would look like to put a dark color on the bottom underside of the tip?
you are amazing love this idea...
gets me every time love the videos but i always cringe when cuticles start bleeding havent had a good experience with getting my nails done when that happens
I love your video's.... And why do you wipe the finished nails (after filing) with acetone? And not with alcohol?? I am just curious 😉
She said previously that it's because it slightly melts the top layer and smooths it out more, i.s rid of any ridges from filing/buffing :)
Love these xxx
