  • Straccetti alla Romana is one of my favourite dish. Typical of Rome in the region of Lazio, lean beef is sliced very thin, coated with semola flour and cooked in olive oil. While traditionally it would be finished off with rocket salad....today I had a beautiful summer truffle...so I am giving a little twist to this already amazing recipe! Come on...Let's Get Cooking!

    500g Thinly sliced lean beef
    half a glass of white wine
    3 Table spoons of extra virgin olive oil
    Salt to taste
    Summer truffle
    Semola flour to coat the beef

      Usually with roast potatoes and spinach or chicory which is kind of a wild spinach which is used s lot in Rome
