Thanks for watching everyone. Whether you’re new around here or been subscribed for a while, be sure to turn on notifications so you don’t miss when I upload. Have a great day ❤
This is one recipe that I'm going to try and some of your other recipes. I've not been eating very good for a while now I've just had no interest plus the food that is being bought into the house is mostly processed such as Cornish pasties etc which are all well and good but they in my opinion are not sustainable to eat every day. Love your channel.
Jack, would this be good for meal prep or would the beef go tough.
I just got done making your recipe and it came out amazing thank you so much keep the recipes coming cuz I love cooking
I have not really noticed until now, but you are a Master at presentation and showcase. You present each ingredient with perfect finesse and showcase the move and result perfectly. No wonder your channel is growing so fast. You certainly have a gift my friend.
As a retired teacher you have an amazing teaching talent. Your step by step instructions are spot on. Thank You for all you do and all the work that you put into your videos. It’s very much appreciated. Much blessings to you and your family.
The dude is a good teacher, or at the very least excellent technical writer.
That’s exactly what I thought.. Well Done Jack.. Thanks for your Awesome videos 👌😊
One of the best cooking channels going! With clear, to the point and informative instructions. Awesome work as always, Jack! 👏
Yet another delicious recipe that fussy son called “restaurant quality” we all enjoyed it. I used beef stir fry strips but marinated as suggested. Beef was soft and crispy. Thank you
Cooked this tonight, husband loved it. Well worth the prep. Thank you
This looks so good. Thank you for making easy for us. I can’t wait to make it this week.
looks superb, love crispy shredded beef - will try this version Jack for sure.
I will be trying this dish! Looks great and with your instruction I know it will be delicious! Nice video 😊
Thank you for another wonderful recipe.
All the optionals are so so good😋😋...iam surely gonna try this with chicken.... awesome recipe Chef Jack . Thank you
Man, your channel has come a long way since I subbed. But you've always been good at the step by step and make really good guides.
Love how big your channel is getting! Keep up the great work!
Lovely! Quick and easy this looks very college campus friendly. Love this👌
Thanks for a great weeknight recipe that much of the prep can be done the day before and then you've got dinner in about 30 minutes. Appreciate the trick of adding bicarbonate soda to the beef. I will incorporate that when making beef stroganoff.
ps: everyone should add the chilies to the sauce.
This looks amazing
Always wanted to know how to make crispy beef stirfry. Thankyou Chef.
This Dish is one of your TOP dishes Jack
Found your channel not long ago. Tried two of your meal prep recipes this and last week and it was incredible. Even me who never been good at cooking (or have enjoyed it) was able to make it and it tasted good. And I enjoyed cooking. Thank you Jack! I will definitely try this recipe soon!
Really great to hear! Thank you 🙏
I've learned quite a bit just by his explanations. One recipe had the garlic/oil cook at low temp to infuse the oil with garlic... I'd never done that yet.
Dish looks amazing
Yet another dish I have to make, bless you Chef
this one is delicious and really easy to put together
Yum!! Thank you Chef! Weekend cooking sorted!
Legend! Please enjoy 😊
Thanks Chef Jack will definitely cook this recipe we love stir fry’s in our house. 😊
You really can’t go wrong with a good stir fry. Please enjoy ☺️
Made it tonight! Spot on..Thank you Jack
Great job! Thank you 🙏
Good looking knives great dish to chef
Thanks Chef for this recipe....It's sooo tasty have had it twice this week with egg noodles...for the first time my steak was tender as well. I've tried alot of your recipes and they always turn out great. Your an excellent teacher..😊
Fantastic! Thank you so much for that. Glad you’ve been enjoying the recipes
That’s fantastic !
☺️☺️🤤
That looks amazing, am definitely going to try to make my own 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Please do!
Delicious 😋
Will do this tomorrow night but with chicken and I’ll air fry it just to keep the calories lower. Looks amazing
Looks great man!
Thank you, David 🙌
Eating your creamy mushroom chicken recipe while watching this one. Awesome work mate!
Appreciate it. Thank you. Enjoy the creamy mushroom chicken 👌
giving this a shot soon.
Please enjoy
Awesome recipe!
Thank you 🙏
Looks great! Can’t wait to try this one. What are the nutrition values?
I cooked it tonight. It's the first time I have ever deep fried anything and it tasted better than a Chinese takeaway!!!
Fantastic to hear. Glad you enjoyed it
👍🏽❤️ nice!
Hi Jack! Thanks to your videos, I‘m planning to buy new kitchen stuff, beginning with pans/woks. 😊 Could you give me some advises? Do you prefer stewing pans over woks because of the steadier heat spread? Which diameter do you use? I saw a 36cm wok with a 22cm base recently in a store, does this make sense? 😂 Material is clear, it‘s obvious that you‘re not a fan of ceramic/PTFE coatings etc. Best regards!
I made this for my boyfriend to impress him and it worked! A delicious recipe that I really love!
Great to hear! Thanks for making it
Thanks, I don’t cook but I gave this a go and it was great 👍
Great to hear!
I like this can you do more food for workout
In case you are debating with yourself - I know you said you are not paid to say anything etc. - but I really don’t mind you hitting the video with a couple cracks of advertisement pepper. We gotta eat, and so do you, as long as you don’t become those “influencers”, just recommending anything that pays. Another great video sir.
Appreciate it. Thank you 🙏 I’ve only worked with companies that I genuinely like and would use myself. I don’t want to be a sell out. Koi knives have been with me for a while now and all my knives are made by them. We have a very good relationship
@@ChefJackOvens You are the most welcome. Hey, just saying. Door’s always open, and a little of bit cooperation, promoting a good product while making a buck on the side, hurt nobody.
Have a good day sir.
I can’t wait to make this. Me going to trying with chicken, too.
Yum!! Please enjoy
Lovely dish.
Do you have a link for the pan you are using in this clip?
Thanks
Thank you 🙏 which pan? The stainless steel pans are from essteele and the range is per vita and the wok is Ken Hom 😊
Definitely gonna use my air fryer for the beef to try and make it a meal prep recipe. Would you recommend that chef?
If you want to make it a meal prep, sear the beef without frying. It won’t stay crispy if stored in the fridge 🙌
@@ChefJackOvens gotcha thanks chef, your a badass! Appreciate all the good videos and tips you give the community, stay blessed 💪
What are the calorie and protein content for this recipe?
Wooow very Nice food I like it , can I Come to eat ? 😍😋😋😋❤❤❤👌
Thanks Jack, this looks fantastic, and I can make it GF, by using GF ingredients. I’ll be cooking this tomorrow 👍
You can definitely use gf alternatives 🙌
So 100% cornstarch then?
Yummo
hey Jack. Can you edit the description to add the red chili and neutral oil? usually go off it but seems this one didn't have everything. thx
Sure thing. I’ll add the chilli. The neutral oil is the peanut oil 🙌
Chef fucking Ovens does it again! big fan, keep it up!
Yum recipe... You need your own Cookware, Cooking Utensils and Knife ware.
Got a few things in the process
Can’t wait to try! Now where’s that pan…
Which one? 👌
I dont have a chance to fry the beef, so how is this dish, wihtout frying the beef? good or no? Otherwise, this dish looks delicious.
I love the idea of this recipe - crispy beef is one of my favourite meals! But could you also include calorie and macro information in these videos as well please? :)
Could you use an airfryer for the beef rather than deep fry in oil ?
Firstly... Please can you do a high protein vegan dinner.... Secondly can you do a dinner using frozen vege for the regular folk who can't afford fresh vege
For many of your ingredients, you list the quantity as 1 Tbsp (20 ml). But a Tbsp is 15 ml. So which do you recommend?
A tbsp in Australia is 20 ml that’s why I always say the weights rather than tsp tbsp ect
@@ChefJackOvens My bad for my Americanized view of the world 🙂. Thanks for the clarification, and keep up the great work.
I be binging these videos instead of paying attention in school
☺️☺️
Looking at your pp going to school means you are a sex offender
Where do you buy your beef?
Woolworths 🙏 or a butcher nearby
Is this suitable for meal prep?
Not with the fried beef but you can stir fry the beef without it
Thanks, I got an A in cooking
👌👌
Personally... I would garnish it with more spring onion to the point the dish can't be seen 😂 this past few days I'm too addicted to spring onion
Haha 😂 you can’t go wrong with spring onion
How many servings would this amount be for?
2-4 depending on portion size
How can I understand that oil is at 190C? Do you use thermometer?
I use a thermometer yes 🙏
@@ChefJackOvens cool, thanks chef 👌
If you poak the oil with wooden stick in it and it sizzles around it its hot enough
@@boungecz8596 Thank you!
Can you do a chicken version also pls ?
Simply use chicken instead 🙌
I love this recipe but isn’t this the same as the meal prep one from a few months back?
Not at all. It’s completely different 🙏
Is what you call corn flour what we in Canada call corn starch?
Corn flour and corn starch are too different things but very similar
@@ChefJackOvens Our corn flour is yellow, not white like yours. I use potato flour for rolling out dough for a savoury pastry or bun and it gives it a very nice aroma and flavour when baked. It also browns to a golden colour - very nice.
Just found your channel..pls do meal prep for gaining weight
A velveting class could be another video?
No need. It’s simply placing bicarbonate on protein 🙏
@@ChefJackOvens yes you and I know this but others may not not
You cut up your peppers EXACTLY the same as I have for 45 years lol. Just wanted to say that.
😉😉 it’s my favourite way
Is it corn flour or corn starch?
In Australia corn flour is corn starch. It’s confusing. Use corn starch 👌
"1 Red Pepper" that is anyone watching in the UK unable to make this recipe 😂
I heard it was bad but is it really that bad?! 😳
@@ChefJackOvens you have to get lucky if they have any basically
Lovely recipe, but I am always reluctant to deep fry foods because I am not confident on how to handle the leftover oil (plus it always seems wasteful to use so much oil only have to throw it away afterwards). May I ask how you dispose of your used frying oil?
Let the oil completely cool down, preferably overnight then strain it through a sieve and use a funnel to pour it back into the original container. You can then use it again 🙌
@@ChefJackOvens That's a fascinating idea, I had not come across it yet.
Thank you very much, I'll look into this more and (hopefully) try this recipe of yours.
Bicarb soda, aka baking soda, to all Canadians/Americans.
Not baking powder though 🙌
Wow, the corn floured beef really sucked. Better to have just flash fried in wok.
And have soggy beef without a crust. No thanks
Isn't this chinese gan bian?
so pointing your finger down after every move is your new thing now
No just do it just in case the voiceovers carries past the clip
