It took me a long time to truly understand Catholicism, but when I did, Wow!! I think the Catholic Church even with all its human problems is wonderful. I love the Eucharist. What power, love, peace, strength, joy. Courage, passion, etc, etc, became alive in me when I for the first time experienced Our Lord in the Eucharist. I am surprised that not everyone is Catholic. My heart jumps with joy when I am about to receive the Eucharist. The Catholic Church is absolutely beautiful. In spite of all the problems with priests, humans, attacks, insults, satanic hatred, it will survive and remain strong. Praise be God for ever...
@@JosipM333 gotta study up on your history bro lol. Without getting deep in the weeds, From a bird's eye view: of the 5 original churches, if 4 of them are the same and unchanged til today from the beginning, and one of them (the Roman church) changed the creed, their theology, and their practices, does it really make sense the odd one out that changed significantly is really the original? Especially when the other 4 are the same from the beginning? Catholicism started officially in 1054. Catholicism is still changing as a matter of fact.
Ive been a james white styled calvinist for 9 years. A month ago i was desperately praying to the lord to show me a way to purge the sins that were destroying my family. Instantly and inexplicably i became obsessed with catholic doctrine. I think ive almost reversed 100% from calvin back to the church. Thank god for the blessings of catholic answers and ascension presents.
@Caleb Marquez well majority of practices from the church father is the same with Catholics, but the protestant follow Martin Luther. If I were to chose I would like the church father Bible interpretation.
Priests don't tell people what to do. Nor do they criticise other denominations, ever! Unlike protestants who can't pass up an opportunity to attack the Catholic Church. I know, having visited umpteen protestant denominations over the past 50 yrs, as a spectator!
yes well maybe priests should tell people more what they should do or should not do, unfortunately many Catholics were not taught the true faith well. I know what you mean about protestants feeling a need to attack Catholics, there preachers seem to spread lies to stop them from discovering the truth. The way that protestants seem to argue against us is to break a commandment "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" so many anti Catholic pages or speeches all start typically with some of the lies ('you worship idols' - no we do not worship statues or pictures we know they are just wood plaster or paper they are just reminders, and that 'you worship Mary' - no we honour her as Jesus mother we worship only God, but Jesus said to St John this is your mother, we believe John represented all of us when Jesus did that, protestants put hands on someone they pray for we just invite those already in heaven to either pray for us or with us.) So we could say protestants only respect 9 of the commandments. (and constantly break the other) All protestant churches were created by men, the Catholic church was founded by Jesus. DO you want to go to a church established by king Henry VIII who not only divorced his wives but had a few of them executed or the faith that Jesus founded upon St Peter
@@brittoncain5090 For example you can read the epistles of St. Ignatius of Antioch, bishop after Peter, and converted by the Apostle John himself: the structure of the Church was already very similar to that of Catholics and Orthodox Christians and he believed in the real presence. He says in the letter to the inhabitants of Smirne that heretics didn't believe that the Eucharist is the meat and blood of our Lord, that same meat and blood which suffered on the cross for us. When you study history of the Church, you actually find the Catholic Church.
ruth musante pope doesn’t have authority to tell people what to do in moral matters on his own accord. In fact a heretical pope would lose his teaching office.
That's one of the things that turned me off from protestantism. It's like they feel they can make their own rules. I mean why are there so many sects? Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, evangelism, etc.
We are living during an independent time. I feel that God wants us to be humble. Most churches don't ask a man to be humble only women. This leads men to take all the power and grace upon themselves. If we don't stand up for ourselves then power to do so dwindles.
@@cheshire_skatkat9093 lol you gotta learn history man dont just take peoples word for it. If you understood the protestant reformation youd understand why there are so many denominations.
Karlo, great job of explaining faith verses works. There is common ground between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Roman Catholicism.
I wasn't obsess with Catholic church that much, but when my wife and her family attack Catholic church and forcing their theological beliefs, for some reason my heart is bothered and I feel like something's wrong, then I start studying my Catholic Church history and biblical interpretation believes, I found out truth, that the Protestant lie to my face over and over again now I'm a proud Catholic and I'm with the church father interpretation versus Martin Luther.
I have a strange question I’m 61 retired Life long Catholic. I want to hike the Appalachian Trail. 2200miles. 16 weeks If all goes well. I’ve done some research online They say u run into towns about every 3-5 days. I have no clue if I can make it to Sunday mass or not. I will try my best. Am I allowed to do such a hike ? Thx
A protestants biggest fear is a confident Catholic. I once told one who used to be a youth pastor "what gives you the authority to create these contradictions a then chose what is right from them?" He didn't talk God with me for months after that, and I have yet to hear a word about confession or salvation since.
Besides the Apologetic arguments, we have nearly 2000 years of experience with the sacrament of reconciliation! It works! God has given His blessings to this sacrament t/o Catholic church history!
Good catholics are more better than orthodox protestant...why protestants always loses in a debate then??? Protestants are hero when they have their own studio and their own anchor...
WHY DO YOU THINK LUTHER LOST BY A LANDSLIDE IN DEBATE AGAINST ECK? PROTESTANTISM IS LOGICALLY INCOHERENT, UNBIBLICAL, AHISTORICAL FALSE GOSPEL AND ANOTHER CHRIST!
The Catholic faith is a wonderful faith, but we are no better (individually) than others as we are all equal. What makes us good is our ability to love all brothers and sisters with such humility that we do it not for any reward but to show our love for them as god has for us.
I don't understand why bible apologetics aren't taught every day in Catholic high and jr. high schools. And in addition to "service hours" well guided bible study hours should be required.
Regarding the controversy surrounding justification (i.e. faith/works): No one speaks with greater authority than Jesus himself. Knowing this, there is the incident which Jesus is approached by a man of the law (i.e. lawyer). The lawyer asks Jesus what must he do to obtain eternal salvation. Jesus' answer was, "Love thy God with all thy heart, mind, and soul; and love your neighbor as you would yourself." Jesus further explained the latter which explicitly pertains to works. So, the first part of Jesus' answer addresses issue of faith and the second part of the answer addresses the issue of works.
God wanted everyone to be His One True Church, not break away. Jn 10:16, 17:20-26, Eph 2:19-22. He renamed His apostle Peter (Rock in Aramaic), told him,”You are Peter, upon this rock I build My Church, forces of hell shall not prevail against her. I give YOU the keys to the kingdom of Heaven. What YOU bind on earth shall be bound even in Heaven. What YOU loosen on earth shall be loosened even in Heaven.” Mt 16:17-19. He appointed His apostles first Pope & Priests, gave THEM His authority, instituted Sacraments and commanded them to spread His Church Infallibly to the world. Jn 21:15-17, Mk 3:14-19, Mt 28:18-20, 3:11, 18:18,19:4-6, Gen 2:24, 1 Cor 11:23-29, Jn 6:52-59, Lk 22:19-20, 2 Cor 5:18-19, Jn 20:21-23 a few related verses. Jesus said unless we eat of His Body and drink His Blood in Holy Communion, we will never enter Heaven, we will have no life in us. He literally said- *** John 6:52 If anyone eats from this bread, he shall live in eternity. And the bread that I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.” *** John 6:53 Therefore, the Jews debated among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” *** John 6:54 And so, Jesus said to them: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you will not have life in you. *** John 6:55 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.He saved us baptized with The Holy Spirit from Original Sin, but sins committed after have to be confessed, absolved and penance served to be forgiven by God. That’s why He gave us His Sacrament of reconciliation 2 Cor 5:18-19. If you die with mortal sin,(not being absolved) you chose to be separated from God eternally. If you die with venial sin you have to be cleansed (purged) completely to enter Heaven. 1 Cor 3:15:16, Mt 5:21-26, Rev 21:27.
"Fruit of the vine" could refer to Jesus calling Himself "the vine" in John 15. In that passage, Jesus gives His disciples an exhortation to abide in Him or they'd be cut off. This may clarify Jesus' statements in John 6 "unless you eat my flesh and drink by blood..."
I don't understand why people who don't want to follow the Catholic faith funds it necessary to knock people who do. Knocking somebody elses religion is unnecessary. Both Protestants and Catholics believe in the Resurrection which is the main tenant of both religions. Who are we to say one way or the other is wrong? Only God will judge, not the people on this board. I have been studying the Catholic faith, and it is with their mass and their oractices that bring ne closer to Jesus. I don't think that us a bad thing. Whether you agree with people who worship differently than you do, well it shouldnt matter to you. Catholics kove their traditions, their songs, lrayers and sacraments. Protestants like their service and their beliefs. Both of us love Jesus!!
Tami, the differences are quite drastic. Protestants hold the bible as the final say (sola scriptura) and Roman Catholics hold the church as the final say (sola ecclesia). God gave us specific instructions which protestants believe Rome's church does not adhere to. Scripture teaches that we are saved by Grace through Faith in Christ apart from works. Rome teaches that we are saved by Grace imputed through sacraments.
Are Roman Catholics idol worshippers and users? One of the commercials answered it perfectly. A woman who was not getting pregnant was told to buy an idol of Saint somebody. Yes. That commercial proved Roman Catholicism uses idols.
There was an infamous Protestant firebrand preacher in Northern Ireland called Ian paisley. He was fiercely anti catholic, violently so, even. I watched a clip of him recently from the early 1960's where he held the eucharist in the air mocking it. He shouted that Jesus only died once and how can a batchelor priest call him down from the cross for us to eat? You guys , pardon the pun, nailed it this video. If he were alive today he would try to out shout you in a debate and maybe even physically intimidate you as he was a big man. He wouldn't have the intellectual smarts that you guys display. But we can laugh at his son , also called Ian, who is a corrupt politician sitting in the house of commons.
The Biggest error of the Roman Catholic Church is their belief that the Church of Christ was founded upon a man (Peter), and not Christ Himself. In other Words, they believe that Peter is “the Rock” and not Christ. Yet, consider the following,… 1. Correctly understanding Matthew 16:18 St. Matthew was guided by the Holy Spirit to write in Greek, and not in Aramaic. And there was a good reason for that. St. Matthew, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, used the Greek language to record AND correctly interpret the Aramaic language that Jesus spoke in. The Greek language is more analytical and descriptive than the Aramaic language, and it thus gives us a more clear understanding of the Aramaic word for “rock.” The Greek word for rock (Petra) in Matthew 16:18 is in the FEMALE GENDER, and thus cannot possibly refer to Peter (a male). Note that the concept of "a Revelation" in biblical Greek is always in the FEMALE GENDER. The Rock upon which Jesus would build His Church is THE REVELATION that Jesus is the Christ. “… Simon, son of Jonah, flesh and blood did not REVEAL this to you … “ (Matthew 16:17). Hence, the rock upon which Jesus would build His Church is the UNCHANGING Revelation that Jesus is the Christ. The Church of Christ could never be built upon an unstable and fluctuating man like Peter (cf. Matthew 14:31; Matthew 16:21-23; Matthew 26:69-75; Acts 10:13--15; Galatians 2:11-14). Rather the Church is built upon the UNCHANGING REVELATION, THE ETERNAL TRUTH that Jesus is the Christ. P.S.: St. Peter never uses “Petra” to refer to himself. In fact, the only time that St. Peter uses the Greek word “Petra” is to refer to Christ! See 1 Peter 2:8. It can’t get any more clear than that. (Aside from all of the Scriptural reasons why we should not embrace the idea that Peter was the first Pope, we also have the fact that there is no clear Scriptural basis-either from Jesus or from His Apostles-that there would come subsequent “rocks” upon which the Church would be built. In other words, “Papa succession” simply cannot be justified by the Scriptures. Let me repeat, when we carefully search the Scriptures, “papal succession” is not found. Thus, accepting one error-Peter was the Rock upon which the Church is built-creates another error-there are subsequent rocks which followed Peter upon which the Church was built. On the other hand, accepting the idea that the Church is built upon the Revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, forever solves these problems.) 2.) Biblical passages that clearly teach us about the main structure or hierarchy of the Church: The main offices of the Church are clearly delineated in four passages from the Scriptures: passage # 1.) Ephesians 4:11, 12. “And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11, 12). Note carefully that God never gave a “pope” to build up the body of Christ. Secondly, passage #2.), “God has appointed in the church FIRST apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles,…” (1 Corinthians 1:28). Note that the FIRST spiritual office given by God to men in 1 Corinthians 12:28 is that of Apostles, and the office of a “pope” is not mentioned or implied Thus, over and over and over the office of “apostles” is listed as the highest office occupied by man within the Church. Note that in both of these passages, (Ephesians 4:11, 12 and 1 Corinthians 12:28), the office of “Apostles” is listed first. Thirdly, passage #3.), the Apostle Paul writes that “the household of God is built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, with Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone.” (Ephesians 2:20). As the Apostles and Prophets carried forth the Revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, they became the “foundation” of the Church. Again, when one carefully examines the above passages that cover the primary structure or hierarchy of Church, one finds that the office of the Pope is not mentioned or even implied. Lastly, passage #4.) The New Testament clearly tells us that Christ is the head of the Church: “And He is the head of the body, the church.” (Colossians 1:18). Thus, no man (i.e. Peter) can be the head of the Church. The Apostle Peter confirms this understanding of the structure/ hierarchy of the Church by clearly referring to himself as "an Apostle." (1 Peter 1:1 and 2 Peter 1:1). Peter never thought of himself of as a Pope and never referred to himself as the Rock (petra) upon which the Church was built. Thus, St. Peter correctly interprets Matthew 16:18 for us, even using the same Greek word, “Petra” that is found in Matthew 16:18 to refer to Christ in 1 Peter 2:8! LET ME REPEAT, IN 1 PETER 2:8, ST. PETER CORRECTLY INTERPRETS MATTHEW 16:18 FOR US, BY USING THE SAME GREEK WORD, “PETRA” THAT IS FOUND IN MATTHEW 16:18 TO REFER NOT TO HIMSELF, BUT TO CHRIST! Again, it is extremely important to remember that the Apostle Peter, UNDER THE INSPIRATION AND GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, clearly identifies his office as that of an apostle (1 Peter 1:1 and 2 Peter 1:1). NOTHING LESS, AND NOTHING MORE. Thus, the preponderance of Scriptural evidence, as given in those passages above, clearly shows us that Jesus is the Head of the Church, with the Apostles and prophets coming next. In short, when examining the Scriptures that set forth the primary structure / hierarchy of the Church we find no justification for the office of a Pope. Indeed, the absence of any mention of the office of a Pope, especially among those passages that speak of the central offices of the Church, speak volumes for those who are humble enough to receive their message. There are additional passages that deal with other positions in the Church, such as deacons and overseers, etc., but again nowhere in these passages do we find the idea of a “Pope” (an overall man / leader of the Church) being taught, discussed or implied. (see 1 Tim. 3:1-12; 1 Tim. 5:17; Titus 1:5-9). In 1 Timothy 5:22, Paul warned Timothy to “not be hasty in the laying on of hands” when he (Timothy) appointed new leaders in the church. Note that this was a responsibility given to Timothy by the Apostle Paul apart from the ministry, authority and recommendation of St. Peter. P.S.: Concerning the office of the Pope, and what the Scriptures say about the core structure / hierarchy of the Church, it should also be noted that nowhere in the Pastoral Epistles (1 and 2 Timothy and Titus), which were specifically written for young ministers in the early Church, is there any recognition or mention of Peter as the leader of the Church. Likewise, nowhere in the Pastoral Epistles do we find any exhortation for young pastor to submit or recognize Peter as Petra, the bed rock of the Church. The absence of any such instructions and exhortations for young pastors is quiet telling. 3.) Biblical understanding of the “Rock” of the Old Testament. Lastly, and this is most telling, throughout the Old Testament ONLY GOD is identified as the Rock of Israel or the Rock of ones salvation. The Old Testament never points to a man as being the Rock of Israel, or as the Rock of ones salvation, but rather, only God. Over and over and over God is identified as the Rock of Salvation and the Rock of Israel. For a few examples of many, see 1 Samuel 2:2; Isaiah 26:6; Isaiah 44:8. Hence, Jesus, being God is the only one who qualifies as the Rock of the Church. The Rock of the Old Testament is ALWAYS the Lord Jehovah (God); the Rock of the New Testament is always the Lord Jesus (God). Postscript: all of the Apostles were given the same keys to the kingdom. Hence, as we shall see from John 20:23 they all had the same power and authority as Apostles. Compare Matthew 16:19 with Matthew 18:18, 19. Through the Keys of the kingdom, all of ALL OF THE APOSTLES were given the power to loose and bind. Likewise, in luke 10:16 ALL OF THE APOSTLES are given the power to speak on behalf of Christ. And, likewise, in John 20:23 ALL OF THE APOSTLES were given the power to forgive sins or retain sins! PSS: Remember that Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to ALL OF THE APOSTLES (JOHN 16:13) so that THE HOLY SPIRIT (and not a man) would guide them into ALL TRUTH.
@harry Murphy. Petra is a greek word not Aramaic! And you said the Jesus is the rock, is this means there no other rock or rocks, Jesus been the only rock?

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, *but not before God* . For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness." Romans 4:2-3 We are saved through faith alone. It is faith alone that justifies us before God. But saving faith is never alone.. meaning that saving faith is always accompanied by repentance and always produces works of obedience. In James chapter 2 the apostle is telling us what true saving faith is and what it is not. He is distinguishing between true faith and pseudo faith. Pseudo faith is a claim to faith, a mere belief worked up by the ill motives of the flesh of man. But saving faith is a gift from God. Therefore, that gift of saving faith accomplishes the purpose that God intended for it to accomplish. It produces good works.. but those works are the result of our faith, and the evidence of our salvation, but they are not the cause of it. May God bless you all. Make sure that you have put all of your trust, all of your hope, all of your faith in Jesus... don't hold back a portion from Him because you have put it in yourself.
If you have the faith of God and not the pseudo faith why don’t you be obedient and receive the Eucharist why are u being disobedient just because some “men” 500 years ago came and changed everything to their own liking even tho we are warned countless times against the doctrines of man in Paul’s letters, these same “men” are the ones who got rid of the 7 deutorcononical books and tried to get rid of 7 of the New Testament books aswell such as James and Peter and more, Again the Protestant community is in favor also of prosperity Gospel another thing we are warned about many times about “How hard it is for one to enter the kingdom of God with riches” yet you would never see Catholics preaching that, we are out at abortion rallies battling the core of evil, Ive listed 2 ways the Protestants hold themselves back from Jesus off the top of my head and could go on and on and on, My friend the Catholic Church(us individually) doesn’t hold anything back from the Lord, we demonstrate our faith and stick to what the Lord gave us which is, The Catholic Church, Godbless my friend
@@biblecatholic7494 you have made assumptions about me and you have mentioned things that I have nothing to do with. But when you believe that your salvation is based off of your works then your hope becomes divided between Christ and yourself. You will also never be able to be sure that the intentions behind your works are pure, because from them you have something to gain for yourself. But if you knew that you had already been saved, then you could do good works, not to attain salvation, but rather purely for the Glory of God alone.
That is because since Vatican ll the way the Catholic Faith has been watered down and taught is not as clear and defining as it once was. and quite a lot of the church has been either changed or no longer taught through RCIA.
Just because Jesus gave His apostles the authority to forgive sins in no way does that automatically reach beyond them to Catholic priests. Now THAT is a stretch. Is it not reasonable to imagine that the very men who physically walked on Earth with Jesus just might be given special privileges that do not extend beyond them during that time? This is not how we do theology.
The Mitre hat that is worn by Catholic priests, cardinals and the Pope, represents Dagon the Babylonian fish god. The ancient Babylonians worshiped Dagan, the god of agriculture, plenty (food) and good fortune. The Babylonian priests wore a headdress that represented the worship of Cybele and Dagon. It featured an open-fish mouth on the head, with the rest of the fish body forming a cloak.

Where in John 20:23 does it say that the apostles were priests who were given the power to forgive sins? And another thing, if the apostles were priests (which they weren't), where in the New Testament does it say that priests were required to remain celibate? If these two characters read the New Testament, they would know that Peter and a number of the apostles were married men. As 1 Cor. 9:5 says: "Do we not have the right to take along a Christian wife, as do the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and [Peter]?"

As The Catholic Encyclopedia says: "We do not find in the New Testament any indication of celibacy being made compulsory either upon the Apostles or those whom they ordained.”

Protestants don’t believe in the Eucharist as being the Body and Blood of Christ. Read 1 Corinthians @-30 where it explains “So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. That is why many of you are WEAK and SICK and some have even DIED.” Does that sound like normal bread to you? Eating that bread would cause people to die??????? Is that normal bread? Be honest with yourself. All the early Christians and church fathers believed the Bread was the true Body of Christ.
Apostolic Church hi ! I’m a former catholic that converted to bring Protestant and I have a question about that. In John 6:53 It says, “ So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.” I know that when I was catholic my church only took the Eucharist, but according to John 6:53 Jesus commands us to take both the bread and the cup ( 1 Corinthians 11:25 ) If this is a command required by Jesus. So why don’t Catholics who take the Eucharist have the same regard for the cup ( the blood of Christ ) that they do for the Eucharist ( the body of Christ ). Because according to Jesus you need both. So you can’t take the bread alone and not take the cup.
Roman Catholics need to stop referring to Protestants as "Brothers and Sisters in Christ". They are two completely different religions . One follows Christ and the other follows the teachings of Rome's church.
Corinthians 1:10-13 I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? It took me a long time to truly understand Catholicism, but when I did, Wow!! I think the Catholic Church even with all its human problems is wonderful. I love the Eucharist. What power, love, peace, strength, joy. Courage, passion, etc, etc, became alive in me when I for the first time experienced Our Lord in the Eucharist. I am surprised that not everyone is Catholic. Priests don't tell people what to do. Nor do they criticise other denominations, ever! Unlike protestants who can't pass up an opportunity to attack the Catholic Church. I know, having visited umpteen protestant denominations over the past 50 yrs, as a spectator!
People who preach about other faiths have no faith in humanity.
yes well maybe priests should tell people more what they should do or should not do, unfortunately many Catholics were not taught the true faith well.

Thank you! Well said, Tami

It's merely being respectful, I think.
The Biggest error of the Roman Catholic Church is their belief that the Church of Christ was founded upon a man (Peter), and not Christ Himself. In other Words, they believe that Peter is “the Rock” and not Christ. Yet, consider the following,…
1. Correctly understanding Matthew 16:18
St.
On the other hand, accepting the idea that the Church is built upon the Revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, forever solves these problems.)
2.) Biblical passages that clearly teach us about the main structure or hierarchy of the Church:
The main offices of the Church are clearly delineated in four passages from the Scriptures: passage # 1.) Ephesians 4:11, 12.

Romans 4:2-3
We are saved through faith alone.

But if you knew that you had already been saved, then you could do good works, not to attain salvation, but rather purely for the Glory of God alone.

Please tell me how the Catholics believe in a 3 person God. I will be attacked brother, no worries.
The Lord Jesus revealed the Triune nature of God, but it is a mystery.
@@d.h.5407Hey my friend, God the Father is an omnipresent Spirit according to scripture. Christ in the only verse in the Bible that says so was filled with the holy spirit without measure. God is holy, and a Spirit. Not two, or three.💗
@CodingCrusader1095 Mathew 28:19 should read "In the Name of the Lord" not your Catholic invented trinity. If this text was not altered by Catholics, why when you continue in Acts none of the disciple's followed it? They were all baptized in the name of Jesus Christ only. If the Father is an omnipresent Spirit, and the Bible says there is one Spirit. That would make this an altered verse, or that there is more than One Spirit which Jesus said is incorrect. 💗

Easter Orthodox priests can Not marry, but they can marry before they are ordained. Bishops can't be married at all.
@@dyzmadamachus9842 Apparently, you never read 1 Tim. 3:2, which says: "Therefore, a bishop must be irreproachable, married only once, temperate, self-controlled, decent, hospitable, able to teach." Enforced priestly celibacy is unscriptural. As The Catholic Encyclopedia says: "We do not find in the New Testament any indication of celibacy being made compulsory either upon the Apostles or those whom they ordained.”
But if not, let it be known to you, o King/Pontif, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image (the spurious sabbath called sunday which bears no mark of SANCTIFICATION) you have set up
I have no idea what you are talking about and it seems you don't either....
Amen brother. We do not worship the Mother of Harlots and Abominations
@@keith2218 are you talking about Mary?! The mother of Jesus?
You would be commiting blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, the only sin God would not forgive, for it is the Holy Spirit that gave Mary Jesus
101 Airborne I’m not referring to Mary, but to the Church of Rome, Satan’s counterfeit
@@keith2218 If the Catholic Church is Satan's counterfeit, what is the true church?
If you are biblically literate at all Abraham was justified through faith before his circumcision.
But obfuscate to make your point 👌
joshsimpson10. When you get around to reading The Bible for the first time, you will see Karla hit that one out of the park.
@Hamann9631 what a rebuttal, truly impressive, I guess I should go find this mystery school tier Bible that you speak of because clearly what I'm reading is simply fairytales....
Corinthians 1:10-13
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
Rome's Church, which is the only true church founded by Peter. The Protestants are heretics, pure and simple.
@@mosesking2923 yes... according to Rome. History tells us otherwise.
@KellysCrusadersGoIrish did you ever look into why there was a reformation? Rome officially went to the sacrament system at the 4th Lateran Council in 1215. That is not the gospel that Christ or the Apostles taught.
@@mosesking2923 look at Acts 15. The judeizers promoted faith plus Circumcision plus The law of Moses. Peter (your first pope) declared we are saved by faith. Now Look at your catechism paragraph 2068. Yes...it says we are saved by faith plus baptism plus the ten commandments. Let that sink in.
