Thank you for watching!
I know these amps are at the top end of the pricing scale & only a small percentage of players will be able to afford one, but here are a few reasons why I ordered them.... 1) John Mayer plays them, 2) they capture that vintage American tone but are much smaller & lighter than anything else I've tried 3) John Mayer plays them, 4) One guy builds them by hand, one at a time, using only the best components money can buy, 5) John Mayer plays them, 6) I thought the name & look was cool, 7) and finally, the most important reason of all.... John Mayer plays them ;) ;) ;)
John who? Lol
John who you should listen to
I had thought John Mayer was playing PRS amps for the dead tour. maybe something more current that he is recording with?
Hey, the word on the street is that John Mayer plays these amps.
I would love to see Mr. Mayer playing in this channel
When playing thru a Milkman amp and looking into the adoring gazes of the smitten gals one could always say, "Nice Jugs"
You win
A gear demo without shredder madness? Thank the guitar gods!! Nice to listen to some guys not trying to impress the world with their chops - very nice guys.
Mick and Pete my fave two players. Can't beat them. I think those were the best jams on this channel so far, even from them. And those amps! Holy moley, staggeringly beautiful.
I'd listen to their album so hard.
Shame they don't have a teaching web-site! So many styles and all done tastefully. So many others only have one style to teach.
These are the types of amps that make your mom happy.
Great to see Tim's amps getting love. Know him a little bit from the scene around here as he took over for me in a band I was in and remember him starting the whole thing up. Great guy, great steel player and makes great stuff.
I now look forward to getting up at 4.15 for work on Saturday mornings, that's when I tune in to Guitar Paradiso so thanks guys for making it bare able. What I really enjoy about you're jams is how you are listening to each other as you play and how you adapt to each other's chords and lines. There's a lot of subtle techniques to be learnt from watching you guys play together. Thanks Pete and Mick.
These videos really make my day. The hard work and sweat :) that goes into them doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you everyone at Andertons.
The best 30 minutes of the week.......EVERY WEEK!!! Thank you Mick and Pete!
Holy shit, this might just be it! I was browsing for a simple, clean, single channel amp... Thank you for introducing me to this brand, Andertons!
And it has happened. I ordered a Milkman 85W Head with a matching 2x12 Alnico Cabinet in Vanilla. I'm broke but so excited. Thank you, Andertons!
@@YouNeedMani do you still like you amp?
You guys inspire me to grab my guitar and play everytime I watch any video.
Keep it up!
That penultimate jam between Mick on the Strat and Pete on the 335 is precisely why I watch these videos. Those two have an ear for awesome tones (even with the relatively narrow sound of single-speaker amps) and a subliminal, even spiritual connection with what each other is playing... and that 335 flippin' RAWKS! The slower final jam, guitars swapped, also demonstrates my point! Now, next task for you chaps - a Gibson Lucille review, with an F-hole ES to compare it to for feedback resistance... you're going to need four amps, two for each guitar... :-)
Sweet sounding amps. You guys are a joy to listen to. You take a back seat to no one.
Wow that ending jam! Mick your playing was phenomenal !!
Please dont ever stop making these brilliant videos!
That Danelectro is very cool. Mick and Pete your jams are so, so good.
Love the sound of these amps. Really enjoyed your jamming at minute24 of video, it was awesome and amps sounded amazing.
what a pleasure it is to listening to you both, wow good stuff guys
Hello from America! I love the sound yall created in this video
God i love this channel! Please never stop!
Wonderful tones and playing my friends!
I'm addicted to this channel!! Another great video boys!
some more brilliant playing loved it thanks
Those amps sound incredible!!! The reverb is ridiculously beautiful. :)
Sounds beautiful through my headphones. I can't imagine in person.
I love the tone of the amps. Proper gear. So sweet.
That rock and roll jam was f ¥cking amaaazing!!! Made my day - Those two especially Pete show the other two how to do it!!
Danish Pete is a beast!! His playing is always so tight and melodic, love it!
You two are UA-cams greatest demonstrators !
Fab all round - why I love guitar!! Thanks guys - and the milkman clinkin' those glass bottles!
Crystal! Love the look of that Danlectro.
Great jamming, guys!
Seeing a shootout between these and similar Princeton amps (...like the comparatively more affordable '65/'68 reissues) would be cool to watch! Great video guys!
Came for the shirts. Stayed for the sounds.
Man, who gives a flying shite about the amps. That rock and roll jam from about 24 mins was absolutely AMAZING chaps! Love it, I've now watched it about 3 times and I'm still grinning like an idiot... just made my Friday!!!!! Thank you!
Same!
Amen. That was great. Great playing with a great sound...and it looks like they were having fun doing it. Put together a tour with that type of playing, send them to the States and I be there in the front row. Fantastic job guys!
Amazing jam that one lads.
Brill as usual, many thanks for the info & pedal nfo as well, makes it ,
That blues rock jam at the end was the best jam I've heard from anything Andertons ever...even better than anything Cap'n & Rob have done.
incredible jams in this video
Your shirts are looking extra paradiso this time chaps. Keep it up!
I could listen to Pete all day. My goodness.
great Scott, that was a nice little number..
Awesome shirts guys. Love them
This is why this show is so great. Suddenly a 'moment' happened at min 24:00. Just magical guys
Man these guys are just rippin it...amazing players..
These amps look like they're a lot of fun to play! Wished I could try one.
Pete is a great musician. He never disappoints
These amps look and sound so perfect....one day..one day..
Wow!!! They sound great!!!
watched this time and time again just to hear Pete's playing..
WOW! These guys just tore it UP! :)
Danelectro! Finally some love, and in the hands of the great Mick
Do the tubes look like milk bottles though?
If you get the big 6L6 "coke bottle" tubes you'll be close.
The important questions
Outstanding demo. Tones from the 20 watt are very Swart-like.
I've played a vintage Marshall plexi and the creamer is absolutely the best amp I've ever played in my life
The reverb is awesome!
Great playing!!
It's about damn time I see a Danelectro guitar on a video from the Anderton world.
Lovely intro, lads.
That bit of spontaneous rock'n'roll was sublime! Now, time to sell a kidney, lung and half a liver to get one of these amps!
It's hard to say anything negative about these amps, other than the price: they look nice, are not too heavy or big, and of course, sound great - perfect for players that like shaping their tone with pedals.
would you recommend an eq pedal for this amp?
That Danelectro is so freakin' cool! I want one.
The are really fantastic sounding amps.
That Danelectro through that amp is a thing of beauty.
Of course Danish Pete's playing is second to none 👍🏻
Man they are so good players!
Lovely tones and playing, gents. Nothing wrong with that, at all.
You guys are pure awesome
I kind of see a similarity between Pete's playing and Prince's solo's. I usually don't like the style of Prince solo's , but Pete really plays that style in a way I find very beautiful, soulful and touching. I guess that is strange compliment, but anyway, love you Pete, and keep it up ;)
Pete is better.
TastyChevelle can't tell if you are stupid, dumb, or crazy. Ahaha
....and a very enjoyable jam!
Awesome intro... nothing needed to be said after that. I want that tone.
I'd literally kill for Pete's strat that thing is gorgeous
That jam around 25, was crazy.
That creamer is gorgeous !
WE NEED A MICK AND PETE JAM ALBUM! Please!!!! Good lord this was good!
Ugh mick n pete 2 of my favs...and yep 20:00 gonna find another you is pretty much the modern 335 tone. Want.one.so.bad lol great video! Now gonna finish that pedal show comp video!
Ok wow that comment was before that ending rock n roll jam...now thats a 335 sounds..never thought id like humbuckers better than a beloved strat haha
this was an awesome episode, makes a nice change from shredding. did mick used to work at a guitarist magazine? he reminds me of a chap from a while ago.
Alex Butler yes he did
Guitar Paradiso- Coconut Malibu Milk drinks....sweeet, sweet jams!
You do all sorts of great videos with quality guitar playing, but this one is endearing, I come back all the time just to hear a pleasant intro. I just left the 335 vs Dot, and if I could request the tonal pleasures of a 335 and a boutique Milkman or Lux variant, and then give it up like this video opens, a simple progression, some quality vibe, hard to beat anywhere, by anybody. Good music is hard to find. Help us out here. Just music. Soul.
Sounds perfect for surf guitar
The amps sound great, but I think the 335 is the hero of this episode.
andrewt248 335 is always the hero. Let’s be honest. Lol
11:50 "Yeah, Mick loves his trem-" WOH WOHWOHWOHWOHWOH
can't beat the one man operation though, quality!! love the sound of these
I'm sure you've been asked this to death but,, do you guys have any recordings of your little jam numbers that we can get? I absolutely love to hear you play together, really very beautiful.
nice intro jam
Another great video, thanks guys. Pete which do you prefer, these or the Morgan amps you demoed?
i don't actually know, but I would think these from the video.
great and inspired playing 24:00
The shirts are great ! are they from so.florida too!lol
They sound better than fender, easily. Tim has the golden ear. 🤘🏻🦔
awesome! great playing... Pete, are you self taught or do you have a degree? just brilliant! Mick, you guys should make a album 4 sure.
around 24:00 i was so disoriented.
Mick was on the left but i heard him from my right ear.
Great video, keep up the good work. Could you guys make a video where you compare a Japanse made strat vs an American made one (American standard)? really interest to see what you guys think of them, I can hardly tell the difference.
Minute 18, what a tone!
In all of the advancements in recording technology for these videos its so surprising that some of the best tones ever captured are already 6 years old
I'm lactose intolerant. Oh bother
Sounds like it's worth the pain though!!
brilliant comment- hahaha
In October '68 at the Cream concert when they played at the largest basketball stadium anywhere, they were playing thru Marshalls not Milkmen.
And?
Pete is a very cool cookie.
Hi, your demo is beautiful as the Creamer is. Is the Creamer someway comparable with the Tone King Imperial (both 6v6, both 20W, both very lightweight and Fender inspired)? Thanks!
man when pete started playing with gain on the dairy air, first notes just screamed clapton
Best Anderson’s video with my favorite players of Anderson’s in it. Does any one know what pickups are in that sunburst strat that Pete plays at the end??? Thanks
These are actually less expensive than I thought they would be.
