Taylor Hawkins is known best as the drummer of the rock band Foo Fighters, with whom Taylor recorded eight studio albums between 1999 and 2021.
In September of 2022 a surreal amount of people came together to celebrate the life, music and love of their husband, father, brother, bandmate and favorite drummer with The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts. As a member of Foo Fighters (@FooFighters) Taylor was a 15-time GRAMMY Award winner and inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (@RockHall) as performers in the class of 2021.
Hawkins first appeared with the Foo Fighters in the music video for the 1997 single "Monkey Wrench", although the song was recorded before he joined the band.
Taylor Hawkins' final performance with the Foo Fighters before his death was at the Lollapalooza Argentina festival on March 20, 2022.
I put up drum only tracks for a long time and have recently started putting up drum covers with music as suggested by many of you. I am playing the drums to this classic in this video and the only audio drums heard are recorded by me. I hope you enjoy!
