Robert Harvey it’s a system that and Audi and other manufacturers use and I’ll very front wheel drive biased, On this generation it’s up to 95% of its power and torque to the front wheels unless there’s a cause for traction being needed then and when in when it will distribute up to 50/50 spilt power and torque depending on the driving conditions it’s a actually a very very sophisticated differential system it’s uses torque vectoring which utilizes and open differential in the front and depending on traction it’s suppose to distribute the power and torque evenly but will not exceed 50/50 spilt . I have 2019 AUDI TTRS will some of the same bull ons as my car and these cars amazing off a strip , but we’re it’s disappointing is a circuit track there’s massive under-steer which is terrifying and can not be manipulated buying sprints suspension mods to make the vehicle feel more RWD bias you can also buy a haldex controller and you can put I think it’s up to 60/40 spilt , but I don’t think these cars the driveline and everything will be okay driving that function . Car manufacturers use this also because it can maintain lightweight AWD and extremely good gas mileage with having a function of being AWD while maintaining most of the power to the front off the vehicle.

the motor is a 5 cylinder, literally half of a V10+ , thats why they call it the baby R8 :D
Those brake rotors had some scary cracks coming from the drilled holes. Love the car
so good I am not the only one that saw the cracks.... pretty scary driving like that with those cracks 😂, might be why he wanted to upgrade the discs
bro u r so right when I saw this i was like what this car has so many mods that are cosmetic instead of infesting that money into a new break kit is just risky and stupid
So he said he painted the brakes himself, so I imagine that’s paint cracking and not from the drill

Beautiful rs3, love the tasteful mods, only issue is drilled discs, 4:20 can already see they are cracking, had this issue and changed mine out asap
Can you clarify why they crack? Is it because of heat expansion under pressure?
@@CGMediaproductions Most drilled rotors are just blanks that have been drilled which reduces the mass of the rotor and therefore the ability to handle heat, so they end up being brittle and cracking. Anymore with the pad technology they have now it isn't necessary to have drilled/slotted rotors because the compounds reduce out-gassing to almost zero. A high quality high carbon solid rotor will out perform a cheap drilled rotor any day. If you like the look of drilled rotors just use a high quality rotor such as brembo where they are cast with the holes.

The best custom Rs3 mod I have seen everything is well put and consistent but the new 2022 version looks outstanding and its just stock especially the sportback its badass

Such a capable car.. traction is what these cars do best, very nice 👌🏼 The lack of front plate and mis-spaced rear will get you pulled on a daily basis though..

You noticed that to? When it goes wrong over 60-70mph it goes wrong really fucking quick! It's usually over by the time you get your second hand where it should have been. Talking from experience.

Got the same seats and stripped out too. Love the supersport seats but there is roughly a 45-50 kg difference in between the seats alone. This review gets me so excited for my srm gtx gen 2 which is on its way🚀🚀

I have ara blue rs3. Mines stock. Not a fan of a lot of modded cars as they look tacky, but this looks awesome. Love the yellow detailing. Not a fan of remove rear seats nor the different front seats. But great car.
