  • The 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 has a Dirt King Long Travel suspension package. The suspension was installed at Dirt King in San Diego, CA. Nick Gardner, the shop manager, was great to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dirt King dirtking.com/c...

You’re like the only guy that actually uses their LT’d 2020 gmc. I’m long travel rear about to go long travel in the front

@@robp418 I just can’t see spending the money unless I was going to enjoy it for what the purpose is for. What truck do you have that you’re building?

@@NickV70 it’s a 2020 silverado 1500. I think i’m gonna go mazzula for the front kit, already have the dirt-king cage in the bed with fox 3.0’s and 2” bumps

@@robp418 you’re running bumps in the rear? I’d like to see how that set up is.

@@NickV70 just threw a few pics up. Bumps are hard to package in the rear. I basically welded a 1/4” plate to the top of the axle, with a plate coming down the axle off of that. I then have a plate coming off the backside of the axle a few inches with gussets reinforcing it underneath. I then plated the inside of the trucks frame and welded my bump cans to that, and then gusseted them to the frame. This lets you fit a bump off the backside of the axle. I also welded a bracket on the driver side for the brake line mount to bolt up to

@@NickV70 I just threw a few pics up. bumps are hard to package in the rear due to where they land. I used a 1/4” plate welded to the top of the axle with a plate coming down. I then welded a plate coming off the back of the axle with gussets underneath. I then plated the frame and then welded my bump cans to the frame, and later added gussets to the cans as well. This lets your bumps land behind the axle instead of on top. I think to bump off the top of the axle your can would end up going through the bed

First of all Nick that is a super sweet truck.
Second of all you must be getting pretty good kick backs from your suppliers. I thought I was watching an infomercial! That video was way way too long! And I really don’t give a shit about where you’ve been I wanted to see it in action!! But so be it. Still an awesome truck! 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@@DavidHansenBaddogg thanks for watching! Yes I need to try and put a video together for UA-cam showing it in action but as I stated in my video, all my adventures with this truck in action you can see on Instagram. That’s where I’m active with action uploads. See @nick.v70 on instagram👍🏼. As for the effort I put into this video, nothing was given to me but yes the service and experience was great from just about everyone involved and since I make walk around videos for other vehicles on my own for pleasure, I figured this was something I could do that would benefit others that possibly are in the position I was months back when I was considering buying and building this truck. Again, thanks for watching and check out my Instagram if you want to see it in action and where I’ve taken it🤙🏼
