I have, and I am. I have the older model in my 40 gallon guppy mosh tub. I can tell you, on the older models, the suction cups suck... and not in a good way. Meaning, they quit sucking altogether shortly after instalation. As far as the filtration goes, it works really well, through.
I love this filter so much that I bought two of them. I put one in my 10 gal shrimp tank, replacing my hang on the back. I found that the position of it is key because it has a very strong flow even being set on it's lowest setting.
Thanks for the review, it was nicely done!! I use sponge filters at the moment but since The Small Scape and Prime Time Aquatics have suggested it I might give it a try in the near future.
Noise has been my biggest issue finding filters for nanotanks. So many of the small air pumps still make a whining noise that is noticeable in a living space. May be worth giving this a try
So excited to see this! The Shark Pro 500 & 700 are my faves on my larger tanks since they are SO quiet and leak proof. So excited to see the smaller size for my nano tanks.
This is perfect! I like that it uses magnets instead of suction cups for easy removal and cleaning. I'm looking for something like this to stuff with filter floss as a water polisher.
Super cool!!! Great review. I have one, the bigger one for the church tank. With the double bottom, it keeps the tsnk clean. Plus. These filters you save on filter media. Just rinse filters. Pop them back in. Done and running.
These are some sweet little filters... And in time I will be getting the 320 for my 65ltr when the one I currently have dies. Really nice review, and I liked the way you showed off the box with all the details clearly. Nice job!
This filter looks interesting with the magnetic system, flow accessories options and reduced noise. Maybe in the future, they will add intake and outflow sponges to make it shrimp and betta friendly. Thanks for sharing!!
I'm using a Nicrew Slim N83251 nano filter. Not the best filtration but has decent flow for a tiny filter. Comes with a sponge for end of the down intake tube. Smaller overall than one reviewed here. Thanks for the video I watch them all.
The only other one I ever used was a larger one from Oase. This one is so tiny and with the little spray bar option?! Yes, please! So cute… 🐳 🇮🇹 💦 I love it!
Every small or nano internal filter I had glogs up after a few weeks with the sponge becoming useless, even after a rinse. How well does this one hold up?
I am very curious. I use the Shark Pro 500 on two of 29-gallon tanks and my 20-gallon tank. I love the spray bar feature. It sounds like a fountain in my house.
@thesmallscape My wife and I enjoy it. We tried with one to see if we like it or not. Then, about a few weeks later, we got 2 more. The first went on my 20 with very low flow out of the spray bar. The flow is actually good with my female betta as well.
I wish someone with a brain (hint to both you and Jason as well as the Hudsons) would develop a way to retrofit devices such as heaters with magnets and eliminate those pesky suction cups!
Nice video. I'm a recently converted shark man.
I love these products.

I hear you! Lol pun intended 😆. This one is super quiet!!

@@514jej 🙌 so glad to hear you like the larger ones ☺️
Hi is this filter safe for baby shrimp

I can't wait until they become available. So excited. Love the larger ones too.
Just wanted to say thanks. Great job 🎉
Well, thank YOU for stopping by! ☺️

Hi 😊 I haven’t used an internal canister filter, but I’d like to try this one! Thanks for sharing your review! 🐳 🇮🇹 💦

😊 I thought you might enjoy those emojis. I love it when the perfect ones are available. 😁
I love this filter but cant figure out how to take it apart to clean it. Does the top open somehow? 😂
May suggest to the manufacturer adding a flow switch or some type of control on the filter itself
I am also disappointed to see there isn't a flow control. Everything else looks great
I did a little research and there is a water flow regulator on the side 👍🏼
Every small or nano internal filter I had glogs up after a few weeks with the sponge becoming useless, even after a rinse. How well does this one hold up?
No flow control? Mine has a flow gate.
Love the magnet feature. Have a similar filter I love but suction cups become worn and stop holding over time. Looking forward to ordering this.
Yippee! You’ll have to let me know how you like it after a while ☺️
What's that plant with green wide leafs in your tank?
Looks like a great little filter!!! I would use it but it doesn't have a water flow control knob. 🤔
When will it be on the market?
Do you think it would be suitable for neocaridina shrimp as is?
I dont see why not. The intake is blocked with sponge.
I am very curious. I use the Shark Pro 500 on two of 29-gallon tanks and my 20-gallon tank. I love the spray bar feature. It sounds like a fountain in my house.
Isn’t it such a nice sound when mounted outside the water? ☺️

I like the (blurpblurpblurp). That sound saved my marriage for 20+ years because it overwhelmed my wife's erratic snoring in our bedroom 😅
@@WeipoMingpo 🫢😆
shrimp friendly ?
Can you make a video demonstrating how you would make this filter Berta and shrimp friendly?
Great idea!!
Does anyone know what the ETA is for this filter?
No filter yet after 1.5 years in 5-gal planted tank with ten gambusia affinis and tons of snails. After all, what is it we're filtering?
💚💚💙💙
I’m soooooo getting one. Did I say one??
@@MrJbassrw haha ..one…ten…same thing

Doesn't look shrimp safe, or brine shrimp safe.
Not a fan of sicce but this is ok
