Being interested in other people and conversing with them is actually a very unselfish, humble thing to do. It also contributes to your joy and happiness in every day. When we are concentrating on ourselves and how we feel, we are automatically more unhappy. That's a really awesome characteristic of your dad to try to emulate.

I lived on Maui when I was in my early 20s and moved back to Chicago in the middle of winter and haven't been back since. What a great conversation, I love hearing Dad/husband and general perspectives on life. What ye do right now is a great calling - making so many happy and feeling like we can relate to the ups and downs. Love down to earth attitudes ye have, so not affected and the ‘cool v uncool’ discussion was right on - taps into the part of us that feels we’re on the periphery of the cool brigade, tho often through our own or influential styles we unwittingly carry off our own sense of cool! 😄in the end of the day all that matters is being true to yourself and not worrying bout how we’re perceived cool or otherwise. Loved this! ❤ Love the premise of book you writing Tanner! Enjoy bringing it to fruition and all the best with it!

Loved your podcast and your relationship with each other! I’m the youngest of 4 with 3 older brothers and the mother of 2 grown sons, and I love hearing guys’ perspectives! As a retired elementary teacher, boys were always easier to teach and manage for me. For the most part, I find guys very black and white, with no drama. I usually can understand where they’re coming from, what they think and how they feel. I love your wives and kiddos, too! I’ll listen to the Beeston Fairly Odd Sisters anytime!
I will say out of the 4 - lo, tanner, sarah that Derek is the heart of the group.

All four of you are inspiring in things you say, but I see potential in Tanner and Sarah writing together. Maybe it’s that the two of you both went through tough experiences with your siblings. ❤ And those experiences forever changed you.
