Wonder if any caught on that Jah and Sinead love reggae😮hello. Every instrument on here is sublime. Her voice is beyond music. Jah forever. What a groove vibe on this one, massive.
Due to listening to a cassette of Screamadelica non-stop throughout my formative years, I get a pavlovian reaction of glee when I hear Jah Wobble's bass.
This episode of the Word changed my life. The other two bands this night was Ride playing "Leave Them All Behind" and Nirvana playing "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
It changed my life as well, the interview before this performance was pure wokery moaning about racism, homophobia etc. When they started singing about 'LSD' it turned me against drugs for life.
@@dee_seejay Homophobic or not, I cant stand hip hop/rap. Care to name these 'homophobic' rock tracks you are bleating about? I cant think of any besides 'New York' by the Sex Pistols.
Famous Hollywood actor once said when asked who is a star? .... He replied ... Prince is a star Phil Collins isn't..... Sinead o'connor is a star .... well her star is now shining bright in the celestial sky Jah and Sinead "Visions of you" classic 😎✌️ .... Sinead gone but not forgotten 🙏➕️.
Good man Terry. Pioneer in your own right with The Word and all that you brought. Never missed a show back in the day and still listening to the same bands and tunes that you brought to me and all of us then. Much love from Ireland brother ❣️
Many, many moons ago on the rare occasion I used to DJ out, Weatherall's 'Lovechild of Hank & Johnny' remix was one of my staples. Cheers for the upload Terry, as a fellow Mancunian I doff my metaphorical cap to you Sir.
@@BubbaZen10 I too.. Was once comfortably numb. I dribbled a lot but had a great time! 7 years? Thats the oldest comment that someones ever answered.. Cool. Why did you stop getting numb?
@@damotheman4196 I'm talking about hard drugs here for sure. I still puff now and then, and will have a pint or two, but ... I got off the hard sht because my ex had a little girl. Wasn't mine, but I love her. Now she had the kid in 2006, I actually got clean around '09. Crack and meth were my thing. The few times i did heroin I was so gakked that sht barely registered. It was like smoking a good bowl.
One of my favourite pieces of music Sinéad worked on. RIP😢
What a massively great groove
Rest In Eternal Peace Sinead.
ya no hay musica como esta...el bajo..la guitarra...los bombos...y la voz sublime d sineid..joyas...

@tendrosstoodross2976 'wokery moaning about racism' I bet 1992 you didn't anticipate growing up to become a proper old gammon.
