I loved PiL back in the early 80s, still do, but Wobble's path has been a revelation. Never predictable - he's kept me entertained for 40 bloody years. If you haven't seen this man live then go, every incarnation of his band has been worth the money and effort 10 times over
We ALL miss Delores! What an angelic voice. I had the pleasure of meeting her back in 1994. Absolutely stunning! She had a calming demeanor, although everyone around her was fussing and buzzing.... Sorely missed. 🙏🏾🤎💔
1994 was before we all understood that doom was imminent in our world. You could still have great, even unreasonable hope for the future, as evidenced by this song and so many other positive aspects of the 1990s.
Such beautiful voices all together in one endeavor is so amazing. Dolores and Jan Wabble are so amazing as well as the other singers and musicians. Such a more laid back time without social media and cell phones. People were more genuine.
I’m so proud of Dolores O’Riordan for admiring Sinead O’Connor a lot. Her voice, her music and her style reminds me of Sinead O’Connor. Irish singers are the best.👍
Seems that most folks here are commenting upon Dolores, but there's two songs on this video - the second of which is one of the stand-out tracks of the album. Both the singers here are great!
Everyone talks of the great guitarists that are around and have been, but nobody gives bass players real credit, Jah is class player along with a list of others
Saw him in my hometown, at electric palace Bridport Dorset 11-10-24 The day after my dad's funeral who was also ,like the mighty wobble, a true cockney .... Big love 🥰😎
First hearing of Wobble ..Rainbow theatre .PIL gig 1979 ..I went to the gig not feeling well , Flu hit me while LKJ was on ..all I could hear was his bass lines from the car I was resting in at the back of the Rainbow ..awesome #
John Wetton is an astonishing bass player - but Mr Wobble is unique in his own way - and if I were to chose between the two I slightly prefer Jah Wobbles feel for the bass over Mr Wettons technical brilliance,
There is a chance that it is because an apposite response to such a musing is the acronym "WTF?". (Not many respondents, well, none other than me, and after eleven years since leaving that comment, you may even be deceased.)
Does anyone know what's the girls name is who sings lead on Amor? I second all the comments about Jah Wobble's book "Memoirs of a Geezer" being a great read - cheers.
I always thought that Dolores O’Riordan is Sinead O’Connor’s sister even the fact says “WHAT THE F***”, they are NOT sisters. Sinead has to be proud of Dolores who adores her so much.✌️
I know about something about her as it happens i.e. know someone who actually does know her; she is a vocal coach when she isn't singing, but that is all the information you are getting. I am not going to give out information to a potential stalker or some weird lonely fantasist.
sorry for ignorance, but Dolores O'Riordan was there like a guest or this is before the Cranberries? i am here from "Becoming more like god" and i see Jah Wobble is also a bass player... btw class 76 ,present thanks for the video !!!!
@brian jones. No. This was June 1994, before The Cranberries had even released their 2nd album. In fact, The Cranberries played on the same show 1 week later.
This was aired on 4 June, 1994. She was guesting. The Cranberries were on the show the following week (there's footage on YT). No Need to Argue was released in October, I think.
I never knew Delores had worked with Wobble. What a combo. She was so beautiful.
Fantastic Jah Wobble bass line
Jah Wobble is one of the greats but sadly underappreciated.

I have to say, "The Sun does rise " is one of my favorite songs of all time. That song was so over looked, its fantastic
Such beautiful voices all together in one endeavor is so amazing. Dolores and Jan Wabble are so amazing as well as the other singers and musicians. Such a more laid back time without social media and cell phones. People were more genuine.
Dolores's voice was so sweet 😍 Beautiful song ❤
Saddened by Dolores' passing today :(
I’m so proud of Dolores O’Riordan for admiring Sinead O’Connor a lot. Her voice, her music and her style reminds me of Sinead O’Connor. Irish singers are the best.👍
👏👏👍❤️
Dolores is in a league of her own.
Jah still with us thankfully but sad to see Dolores & Sinéad have left 😢

One of the few who where inspiring to me in my younger days.
Jah and Hook are my top 2 bass heroes, I'll be forever grateful to them for inspiring me to pick up a bass and make music.
Derek Forbes when with Simple Minds check out New Gold Dream album
Very true , jj burnell, Bruce foxton, mark king, norman watt Roy and many more.

Oh they were fabulous..thanks for the memory!
She 🔆 in every performance.
Her voice is celestial

John Wetton is an astonishing bass player - but Mr Wobble is unique in his own way - and if I were to chose between the two I slightly prefer Jah Wobbles feel for the bass over Mr Wettons technical brilliance,

This is from 1995, for everyone that's commenting as if it was from last week.

DOLORES
I Love You Dolores I Am Dying Just To Be With You❤
Great!!!
What a Geezer.
I have to say, I like Wobble's recordings since the mid-90's much more than the older stuff. This is rather tame music I think.
@jakkenton the singers name is Dolores O'Riordan of the cranberries
I fucking love this,,,,,,,,,,,
Bring back the Mambo Inn!
Is the singer that one from the CRANBERRIES? Sounds like it...
Unmistakably Delores 💗👍
A refreshingly unusual approach animadverse an underlying systemology becoming of light in extension. A pity one hears not so much of that.
There is a chance that it is because an apposite response to such a musing is the acronym "WTF?". (Not many respondents, well, none other than me, and after eleven years since leaving that comment, you may even be deceased.)
see yer man with the green trousers and the shaker...who was paying his wages?
And Dolores O'Riordan when she wasn't doing here Oscar statue impersonation (RIP). Wow.
Ohh Delores...
who's the babe singer in the middle with the cream dress on ?
It could be Natacha Altas
I reckon John Wardle has spoken to MI ...whatever they called themselves
@wisesatyr72 Dolores O'Riordan , the singer out of The Cranberries
Justin Adams on guitar?

Why can't I find this on Spotify???
The songs are taken from the album "Take Me To God" , 1994
Does anyone know what's the girls name is who sings lead on Amor?
I second all the comments about Jah Wobble's book "Memoirs of a Geezer" being a great read - cheers.
Hello there. Her name is Ximena Tascon.🙏🏾
very old, but nice.
was this written into the Good Friday agreement
Where is wobble?
I always thought that Dolores O’Riordan is Sinead O’Connor’s sister even the fact says “WHAT THE F***”, they are NOT sisters. Sinead has to be proud of Dolores who adores her so much.✌️
@slippyr4 manythanks. i thought it was. ain't heard this in ages. ages well i think.
@theOUCHcollective Yes, her name is Delores O'Riordan.
Bring back Sinead.
Can anyone tell me the name of the female singer who sings the second track "Amor"? And does she still perform with Jah?
I know about something about her as it happens i.e. know someone who actually does know her; she is a vocal coach when she isn't singing, but that is all the information you are getting. I am not going to give out information to a potential stalker or some weird lonely fantasist.
I am neither of the above! Just a fan of good music!
There's a smartass in every crowd!
The suspense is terrible. I hope it lasts.
calm down calm down (as a scouser)
sorry for ignorance, but Dolores O'Riordan was there like a guest or this is before the Cranberries?
i am here from "Becoming more like god" and i see Jah Wobble is also a bass player...
btw class 76 ,present
thanks for the video !!!!
She didn't sing more like God. This was well after the Cranberries.
Damn that girl in silver pants looks so damn GOOD !!!
My mate knows Trevor. My only claim to fame.
