This is the best kitchener stitch bind off video I've seen so far. Close enough to see, slow and patient explanation, enough times to really get it. Thanks!
Thank you. 🧶
Great demonstration! I’ve looked at so many Italian bind off methods & been confused but your demonstration was so clear & easy to follow. Thank you 😊
Now I understand why I always was unhappy with the way the joining looked. That trick with the stitch markers is just AWESOME! Thank you for another enlightening video~
Thank you.
Thank you for your phenomenal videos - you're one of my favorite instructors on UA-cam. You have such a knack for clear explanations.
Thank you and Happy Knitting.
@@SuzanneBryan ĺ,
You are amazing!! Because of your videos, I have tried so many new things that I used to be afraid of! When I see something in a pattern that I have never done, I immediately look up the technique in your UA-cam videos!! You make everything so clear and easy to follow!! Thank so much!
Linda
You are very welcome L Les! Happy knitting.
Thank you for this!! I made a hat in double knit with tubular cast on, and started a cowl to match it, only to realize I didn't know how to bind off to match the cast on. This video solved that problem!
Wonderful!
This makes it easy which I thought it might be. Not over-explained and the close-up image makes clear the movement you need to get the hang of. Thank you!
This is the best explanation and I’ve looked around! Slow, patient, and enough repetitions that I didn’t have to keep pausing and rewinding. Thank you 🙏 ☺️
Thank you so much for posting this and zooming in! Your explanation slow speed and repitition is awesome 👏
Always my go-to video before doing this lovely bind-off. Thank you, Suzanne!
Wonderful, Cindy, I love being the "go to gal"! ❤️
Ive tried this so many times with so many different tutorial videos. This was the one that worked for me, so clear and well explained. Thank you so much!! I can finally do a tubular cast off!
Still the best teacher in knitting tutorials. Appreciate the transcripts and your clear and concise instructions. You are very good and have taught me everything needed for socks and other knitting designs I would not have thought without your instructions. Thank you! 5 years later still the best!!
Ann, your lovely feedback is music to my ears, thank you so much! Your comments are exactly why I do this! ❤️
Suzanne, you are a fabulous teacher. I have a difficult time following instructions, so your articulate, patient, detailed videos resonate with me. Many thanks.
Suzanne, thank you so much for your very clearly demonstrated process! I was able to pick it up immediately, and that is not always the case with me. Well done!
You are very welcome DeborahSTL. Thank you and Happy knitting.
Thank you sooooo much Suzanne for another wonderful tutorial! My neckline looks so nice because of your help!😊❤️👍👏🏼
Happy Knitting.
Thank you so much. What a revelation. This will now always be my bind off for 1-1 rib
Wonderful!
I've started knitting in lockdown using videos to help me learn. I was sure I would never EVER be able to figure out how to do a tubular bind off, but thanks to your slow and close up demonstration I nailed it on the first try! Thanks so much for your videos
You are so welcome! That is so awesome, thank you for sharing!
Yes, I agree, the pace of the video is perfect for following along knitting at the same time. My ribbed neck turned out perfectly!
I am still a reasonably new knitter and I’m so glad I discovered this video a few months ago. This BO seemed so hard at first. But now that I’ve done it several times it just flies off the needles! Still need you to tell me the order of the steps but it takes me half the time now. =)
Good for you! Hugs and happy knitting!
Absolutely brilliant. I wish I had seen this an hour ago. I'll use this for he next top down sweater. I can't wait to see what else you have here on you tube!
Wonderful!
Suzanne you are a godsend! Can’t tell you how many times you have helped me with my knitting. Thank you so much for these wonderful tutorials! My favourite virtual teacher 💙
Wonderful Alejandra Ayala! Happy Knitting.
Hands down the best instruction (video or not) on the tubular bind off I've found after seeing more than 2 dozen and following several. Many of these other tutorials call it a tubular bind off but it is just the sewing part, not the tube. I was so confused, but your clear video made it actually very simple. I've just followed your technique on a sweater, and it looks very professional, and also bounces back perfectly after being stretched. I'm so pleased! Thank you so much!
You are very welcome! Happy Knitting.
¡UNA CLASE MAESTRA! Muchísimas gracias por compartirla. Es perfecta! Bendiciones para Ud. y los suyos.
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you. Your videos are so clear and well done. This is a beautiful bind off. Just completed a hat band with it. I've seen others demonstrate this but yours is the one I like the best.
How kind of you! Thank you!
Your instructions are clear and easy to follow! Thank you SO much for this video. It is a beautiful stretchy bind off for toe up socks.
Thank you for this excellent video. I'm knitting the Featherweight Cardigan and I used your instructions to bind off my sleeve cuffs. They turned out beautifully because of your clear and concise instructions. Very grateful for instructors like you on the Internet!
Excellent! Glad to be of help. Happy Knitting,
Suzanne
You are just an amazing teacher. Beautiful work. I'm excited to try this!

Glad it was helpful!
Such a well done tutorial. The finishing piece is excellent! I haven't seen this finishing detail on other tubular bind off tutorials. Thank you!
Thank you heyBrownBerry! Happy knitting.
Thank you for such a great tutorial. I really loved how the DK prior to the bind off gave an overall excellent finish.
Glad it was helpful! Happy Holidays.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! I've never had anyone demonstrate this so clearly - and now I can do it without getting confused. Subscribed with gratitude.
Wonderful, Lark! And you are most welcome; happy to help!
Amazing tutorial! Thank you so much. This will be my go-to bind off from now on.
Thank you Suzanne. Excellent as always!!
That's just what I needed to finish the cuff's of a sweater I'm knitting. Thanks for that wonderful demonstration
Wow! A bit intimidating, but I will give it a go sometime. You are a hidden treasure here on UA-cam, Suzanne. Excellent, professional instruction. (And thanks for a quick response on the other video!) I don't have any knitters in my personal circle, so UA-cam is the closest I have to a knitter sitting with me, helping me improve my technique. Thank you for your videos! Have a wonderful 2017:)
Thank you,!
Me again, needing a refresher, you are the BEST! Thanks! My sweater bind off looks super!🥰
Excellent. Perfect companion to the invisible bind off videos. I will tackle this bind off on my socks with confidence! Thank you Suzanne!!
You're so welcome, Tamara; I love your confidence!! ❤️

You're a star! I found the cast off in my Montse Stanley book, gave it a go, but it wasn't looking right. After watching you demonstrate so clearly I'm sure I can get it to look better now!
Perfect!
An awesome tutorial thank you. It really looks lovely! And got quite easy after I got the hang of it! 🎉❤
Thank you! I'm a newbie and your instructions were brilliant! I just finished my first sweater and the ribbings are beautiful! Gracias!

I’m doing the tubular bind off for the first time and as usual, this is a great tutorial.
Glad it helped!
Thank you for making this so simple! I adore the finished edge it creates! For some reason the single needle Kitchener stitch seems soooo much easier than the double needle.

Hi Suzanne. At first I thought I will never master this very complicated cast off.
Showing the process close up helped a lot. It’s not as hard as it looks and also good training for the brain.
Thanks a lot Suzanne.

I think this is the 3rd technique I've used and I'm so pleased with how beautiful every new detail looks. I'm so grateful for the all the effort Suzanne makes to provide all this information to knitters. Thanks again Suzanne for ensuring our knitting projects look so beautiful!

I have tried watching several of these videos but your video is the only one I really understood. Job well done. Thank you.
Awesome, thank you!
Thand you Suzanne! This is a wonderful tutorial that actually makes tubular BO easy. The best video I’ve seen on this subject. And if you’re lazy (and I often am) it is only slightly more fiddly to do the BO on just one needle.
Exactly. Thank you Gudrun.
Thank you SO MUCH Suzanne!! Beautiful finish. You've made this tutorial make so much sense. With some tutorials I hear "blah blah blah" but yours is crystal clear!! I knit the same way as you, so it's much easier to follow 👍THANK YOU!!! Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! 2020 already, where does time go!! ❄🕊❤

You're very welcome! I appreciate you watching my videos, Cris!
Thank you! really well done tutorial. This was new to me. You are amazing! 😘😘
Thanks for this tutorial Suzanne. Perfectly easy to follow along and Its the best new thing Ive learnt in a long time :) Also, I thought it would be difficult , esp with this thick, fluffy yarn and would never have bothered learning it had I not been desperate to fix a problem of a stretching neckline! Its easy! And I really enjoyed doing it, I wove in the last bit with one inch left to cut off so winning a close game of yarn chicken was also super fun!.
