In Germany you can also ride a "Paternosteraufzug" (aka. "Paternoster Elevator") < this elevator has no doors (!) and it won't stop! If the elevator is at your floor, you need to jump in/out, while the cabin keeps on moving! And it doesn't goes up and down, but round and round! If it reaches the top level, the elevator goes a sideways and down again in loop ... < hard to explain! :) But thanks for your new video! *yeah
I used this one when I was in cologne as a young adult, visiting the old WDR building. It really gives off a strange feeling because you don't want to miss the exit 😅

Yes, it's impressive, but if you have to use stairs to get to the lift, then it's a misconception aka faulty design at all, sorry.
