You said you want a way for new players to catch up but then you dont like the daily quest thats confusing. the daily is just a task to kill a little bit more mobs for the amount of clade that a boss task would give. That is a catch up mechanic for new players.
No its just that the old players will grind that every day and getting alot of rewards and are basicly buisy with their daily instead of maybe sometimes doing stuff with others in an mmo when the daily quest is a group quest only than it makes sense.

Absolutely right about needing separate mastery trees for action vs. profession. Maybe I'd get the extra action skill points if it didn't cost so much.
I would say even better. In addition to a separate mastery for professions, they should implement a profession clade gift tree separeted and common to all clades. I don't particularly mind when I do things for myself... But it's an annoying situation when for example, you have a friend who needs a butcher but your character it is not an Alvarin, or he wants a crafter but your character is not an Oghmir, so none of them want to request your services because 10% or 3%. I don't like this philosophy of profession linked to the character's race.
this patch makes me sooooooo happy as a dominator who is also an elementalist. hitting one of your pets with a fireball was already a HUGE fumble. on top of that when it just so happens to take out that last bit of loyalty because youve accidentally hit them with ele spells. 25% instead of 500% is gonna feel sooooooo nice lol. when 2 wolves where the meta it happened to me twice, both times in necro dungeon. (pre tianming) hit them with a fireball and they turn around and brutally murder me and then die to the ai. so not only do i die. i die to my own wolves, lose my stuff and then lose 2 125 wolves it was unlikely i could get back in time or that i had 2 more 125 wolves ready lol. or when the outlaws get a new taur dog pet and u you just go fuuuck man... i created you, and i cant even outrun you lol. i just hope most pets get better attacking animations and accuracy of beast mastery skills. more importantly everything needs to be armorable and ridable or at least provide some form of locomotion.

the proffession mastery tree wouldnt work because everyone would get 100% of the things they want from it because of our limited proffession points we dont all use everything on 1 character, instead when they add like 30 mastery points worth of new stuff they need to increase our limit by 10, this patch should take us from 110 mastery points to 120 cap or something like that

Henrik really needs to stop pushing out new mountable pets without armor like wtf. Also idc about daily quest because no one is forcing you to do it. If the quest is fun then good make more. The game is boring we need more fun
If players creating quests are the focus, why did you speak positively of the initial task system? Why is that any different? Its self contradictory to resent the dailies but not tasks in general. I'd like to believe you grew since and thats why.
players creating quests where the focus until star vault realized that millenials and gen z and gen alpha the most of them are unable or to uncreative to make their own content. I imagine these people playing minecraft and instandly quitting that because it has no quests xD. I still dislike the daily task. But the tasks in general for new players its a good guidance because there are humans out there that need guidance to their fun time it seems.
Crafting mastery is just a stupid idea. It discourages new players even more. And it adds a lot of grind to make good crafting alt. So less people will be paying for their crafting alts and SV will be getting less money to develop the game

Dungeon volumes were also causing mobs to turn invisible mid dungeon, Talus risar had this, sanctum as well apparently

Actually is a huge problem whe you have tasks cape and coin, mainly the bounty one, since they can not be transfered.

Best part about the patch is the fact that surrendering is basically snooping for thievery so ideally thievery is the next patche's suprise feature.
