I love your videos. You know that if you use imitation vanilla if you double the amount it will taste like you used pure vanilla and it isn't enough fluid to mess with most recipes. If it does make it to wet usually a tablespoon of flour will fix that.

I have a question I have an autistic nephew and he’s been doing well with cbd extracts and I’m wondering if I got a strain of cbd hemp flowers can I use your butter method to make him cookies and all kinds of treats to help him with his autism. I’m not sure if you know a lot about cbd but your recipes have been great and have helped me with my knee pain and my friends love your recipes too. In case you still need this information, Liz is correct... to my knowledge, the only thing that doesn’t need to be decarboxylated before using in cooking is distillate. 😊🙏❤️
@@thegameeeeeee8666 - sorry, do you mean the qwiso method? I wasn’t familiar with it, but that was all I could find. I’m certainly no expert, just advising from my personal experience... but from what I read, most people decarb the flower before processing or the shatter after, especially if they’re going to use it for cooking. You might try just doing a couple of very small batches each way, and see if you think it makes a difference, either good or bad. If I’m able to learn anymore, I’ll be sure to let you know. 🙏❤️

QWIPA is just "quick wash w/ iso propyl alcohol" Which is submerging ground flower in an amount of solvent for about 10 seconds, to extract only the main golden THC from flower. This golden thc syrup is then double boiled down to what I call "shatter" but I dont know if it is "shatter" or "distilate" as I just make it... Would the above way I mentioned still need to be decarbed? I dont decarb the flower before QWIPA

I did make that butter with the Levo. It looks a lot greener in the video than it actually is. I used the blue light and it enhanced the green colour.

Pretty sure that cbd can basically be treated the same as thc in terms of infusions.
Yes, you would use it the exact same way the only difference maybe in infused amount used as I don't know how to calculate CBD.

I make my own shatter by qwipa method then I boil this down in a double boiler. Does this need to be decarboxylated before making butter ?
