The scent is traditionally feminine, but still has a seductive Parisian scent. Penelope Cruz (the Spanish actress) is a spokeswoman for this perfume. I couldn't think of a better person to represent this perfume. Edit to Add: It's made of fresh raspberries, vanilla, and frankincense.

Loving Sézane's Tomboy shirts! For me, vanilla has always been a soft, comforting fragrance...warm & inviting and rooted in the scent of my grandmother's kitchen more than half a century ago. Just last year, I became a grandmother! Now, when my grandson visits, which is often, I occasionally bake cookies, but I always make a point of wearing Atelier's Vanille Insensee or Royal Earth Parfum by The HARMONIST. On date nights, I wear Hypnotic Poison by Dior, which also contains orange blossom 😊

My favorite scents tend to be more androgynous - I love Margiela’s Coffee Break and By the Fireplace scents. I was raised by my grandmother, and so they remind me of slow breakfasts with her and campfires up in Canadian cottage country with my family.

Great outfits! I cannot choose just one favorite, but I do love all white, all black outfits. I find myself leaning towards the academia style lately, and love the fedoras! In terms of scents, my favourite perfume of all time is Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna, which is described as fresh, woody, and fruity. Generally speaking, though, I love the smell of cinammon! My favorite scents are currently Mojave Ghost and Blanche from Byredo- you should try Bal D’afrique or Gypsy Water from Byredo if you like bolder! Their scents are amazing. For orange blossom, Jo Malone makes an amazing one that’s very true and natural 😃

Sezanne is a brand I discovered a couple of years ago from another channel. My daughters and I have been buying each other Christmas presents from them ever since and other clothes throughout the year. I would rather have one thing from sezanne than 10 from a discount store. I'm Coastal, and every 2 or 3 weeks we get a few tightless shorts days! Favorite scent- Lotus Pear! My husband has a lot of trouble with smelling very intensely, while I am what can be referred to as hard of smelling, so he picks out all my perfumes. Lotus Pear is one I can smell actually but doesn't smell too strongly to him. Oh, if you're ever wondering, Bethany, your Week of Outfits videos are dearly missed- at least by me- even if you're just staying at home that day, it's really cool to see what you're wearing, and it's sort of a vlog without you having to plan something wild to film.

I noticed in one of your videos that you own Tomboy shirt in size 2 while here it is size 0. Could you please share you shoulder measurement? It could help as I am so confused between size 2 and 4, when one might be to tight on shoulders and loose everwhere else while other on the opposite side.
For Sézane I always go with the smallest size available at the time for tops. The Tomboy hasnt always had a size 0 available. That was recently added size in the past few years.
My favorite scent/perfume these days is Fog by Henry Rose. It’s a bit of an earthy, musky scent with Vetiver, Magnolia and a bit of citrus. It feels warm and grounding, but also a bit flirty which is nice. I’ve also been married for 13 years! So nice to learn that - not a lot of women our age can relate to that just yet.
Love this! I found sesame from your channel and while I’m yet to purchase anything I will one day! Probably after I do a style course 😅 My fav scents are gourmand… vanilla in particular. I basically suit smelling like a cookie! Lol my skin reacts with most florals etc and they go VERY sweet and powdery on me so I have to steer clear! I also love anything with wood fired or tobacco. So basically anything cosy smelling. Yet to find a ‘signature’ perfume but always on the hunt!

Hello Bethany! Orange blossoms were made popular for weddings by Queen Victoria. The flower symbolizes virtue, love, and fertility. 🥰 I have not seen modern brides who follow the tradition. Maybe they don't know about it or maybe they don't like it.
I have yet to find a perfume that works for me, but I adore the scent of fresh jasmine flowers or orange blossoms, as well as lemon and basil. A breeze with any of these will automatically lift my spirits and make me feel so relaxed and at peace.

Whiskey 1969 from Thin Wild Mercury makes my knees weak! It’s warm & has a top note of raspberry but fades into a peppery whisky musk. Its an indie brand you have to check out. (Also Zuma - vetiver) She has other scents that are more feminine but they’re all pretty androgynous. Also FITZ WILLIAM??! That is an amazing name 😍
Favourite scent: For candles/rooms/home: All four seasons it’s something sweet with a note of tobacco or smoke. I love the depth and sultry-ness of tobacco mixed with something sweet and consistent like honey or vanilla. Tobacco vanilla will evoke sweet campfire nights in summer, a crackling fire in winter, and a musky cigar/cocktail lounge in fall. My Only break from it spring where I’ll do an occasional floral (gardenia or ylang ylang) For fragrance to wear my faves (that smell best on me) are Mon Guerlain, JPG La Belle, or anything thats gourmand with depth. I also love notes of orange blossom, and vanilla! I took this question SO seriously 😂
Oh and I also live in a century home so I love woodsy scents! I feel like a balsam and firewood vibe come alive in an old home- with the deep window sills and hard wood framing. ❤

I love peppery scents too! For perfume or candles: pink peppercorn, bergamot, musk, tobacco, grapefruit, sandalwood. For environmental scents: fresh yeast bread, the rain, the beginning of autumn, cookie dough with loads of quality vanilla.

I love amber fragrances. I gravitate towards Baccarat Rouge 540 and Ellis Brooklyn Super Amber. It’s such a beautiful scent. On a nostalgic note, I like rosewood, magnolia, and honey since it reminds me of the perfumes my mother wears. I actually have an empty bottle of what I call her signature scent, and when I’m really missing her, I take it out of my drawer and smell it.

Loving Sézane's Tomboy shirts! For me, vanilla has always been a soft, comforting fragrance...warm & inviting and rooted in the scent of my grandmother's kitchen more than half a century ago. Just last year, I became a grandmother! Now, when my grandson visits, which is often, I occasionally bake cookies, but I always make a point of wearing Atelier's Vanille Insensee or Royal Earth Parfum by The HARMONIST. On date nights, I wear Hypnotic Poison by Dior, which also contains orange blossom 😊

Love the outfits you put together! I’m considering the Sezane tomboy shirt so it was great to see it on someone with similar measurements. My favorite scents tend to be more androgynous - I love Margiela’s Coffee Break and By the Fireplace scents. I was raised by my grandmother, and so they remind me of slow breakfasts with her and campfires up in Canadian cottage country with my family.

Great outfits! I cannot choose just one favorite, but I do love all white, all black outfits. I find myself leaning towards the academia style lately, and love the fedoras! In terms of scents, my favourite perfume of all time is Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna, which is described as fresh, woody, and fruity. Generally speaking, though, I love the smell of cinammon! I just found your channel and am taking notes! Can you please do a video on tops that hit at the waist? I have the same short legs/ long torso body type. I have a hard time finding shirts that hit the waist at a high rise pant. I’m not interested in cropped tops! 🙈
My favorite scents are currently Mojave Ghost and Blanche from Byredo- you should try Bal D’afrique or Gypsy Water from Byredo if you like bolder! Their scents are amazing. For orange blossom, Jo Malone makes an amazing one that’s very true and natural 😃

Sezane - fav looks 4, 3 and 9. Dark academia is always so solid and pretty. Also the hats add depth and interest. (After all, trained by You!!!!) Why I like them ... Sezanne is a brand I discovered a couple of years ago from another channel. My daughters and I have been buying each other Christmas presents from them ever since and other clothes throughout the year. I would rather have one thing from sezanne than 10 from a discount store. Then I saw you doing a Sezanne story and I have been watching you ever since!
Every time I hear mohair all I can think of is “She’s got electric boots, a mohair suit. You know I read it in a magazine.” LOL That is a such a beautiful sweater. How do you wash your Sezane pieces?
i wash with a delicate detergent and cool water when needed and dry hanging or laying flat. I reshape with a steamer, and I mainly refresh between wears with a steamer.

I love this video! This is such a small touch I wanted to comment on, but I love the "shht!" sound in between outfits! Also, it's lovely being a Virginian this time of year, huh? I'm Coastal, and every 2 or 3 weeks we get a few tightless shorts days! Favorite scent- Lotus Pear! My husband has a lot of trouble with smelling very intensely, while I am what can be referred to as hard of smelling, so he picks out all my perfumes. Lotus Pear is one I can smell actually but doesn't smell too strongly to him.

I noticed in one of your videos that you own Tomboy shirt in size 2 while here it is size 0. Could you please share you shoulder measurement? It could help as I am so confused between size 2 and 4, when one might be to tight on shoulders and loose everwhere else while other on the opposite side.
For Sézane I always go with the smallest size available at the time for tops. The Tomboy hasnt always had a size 0 available. That was recently added size in the past few years.
But if you campare the two is size 2 much bigger? Is there any difference how both sizes feel in shoulder area?

My favorite scent/perfume these days is Fog by Henry Rose. It’s a bit of an earthy, musky scent with Vetiver, Magnolia and a bit of citrus. It feels warm and grounding, but also a bit flirty which is nice.
I’ve also been married for 13 years! So nice to learn that - not a lot of women our age can relate to that just yet.

My fav scents are gourmand… vanilla in particular. I basically suit smelling like a cookie! Lol my skin reacts with most florals etc and they go VERY sweet and powdery on me so I have to steer clear! I also love anything with wood fired or tobacco. So basically anything cosy smelling. Yet to find a ‘signature’ perfume but always on the hunt!

I have yet to find a perfume that works for me, but I adore the scent of fresh jasmine flowers or orange blossoms, as well as lemon and basil. A breeze with any of these will automatically lift my spirits and make me feel so relaxed and at peace.

Whiskey 1969 from Thin Wild Mercury makes my knees weak! It’s warm & has a top note of raspberry but fades into a peppery whisky musk. Its an indie brand you have to check out. (Also Zuma - vetiver) She has other scents that are more feminine but they’re all pretty androgynous. Also FITZ WILLIAM??! That is an amazing name 😍

I love peppery scents too! For perfume or candles: pink peppercorn, bergamot, musk, tobacco, grapefruit, sandalwood. For environmental scents: fresh yeast bread, the rain, the beginning of autumn, cookie dough with loads of quality vanilla.

Coming from an Asian culture the first time I smelled the sezane perfume I thought someone made kebab bbqs in a lavender garden which felt really weird 😂 I’m growing to like it tho
I like perfume with some bitter accents to it (cuz I’m just bitter /j) like tea, citrus peel, grapefruit, lilac those kinda stuff
All of the outfits were beautiful, but I am smitten with the black merino/ white shirt/ boots ensemble. As a researcher, teacher, and woman, I sometimes find it difficult to look serious/professional/chic as well as whimsical/feminine. Many of us in academia tend to be introverts, and enclothed cognition can be empowering (as well as transformative) when delivering lectures and presentations, and I find so much inspiration from your videos. LOL…My favorite scents are warm and spicy - chocolate, almond, vanilla, cinnamon. I think old school Calvin Klein Obsession or Thierry Mugler Angel captures the scent combo. I love amber fragrances. I gravitate towards Baccarat Rouge 540 and Ellis Brooklyn Super Amber. It’s such a beautiful scent. On a nostalgic note, I like rosewood, magnolia, and honey since it reminds me of the perfumes my mother wears. I actually have an empty bottle of what I call her signature scent, and when I’m really missing her, I take it out of my drawer and smell it.
