I never saw the show: Masked Singer before, they are entertaining the audience which is why it called Pentatonix for the reason. Each of them are expanding their lower and higher range, just right, way to go Pentatonix.
I just realized that Matt had both the lowest note and the highest note, which is pretty remarkable in a group including Kirstin, Mitch and Kevin. (Not to slight Scott, but his remarkable range isn't quite as low as Matt's, or quite as high as the others.)
Some are mixed up. In some instances you have Kirstin's name or Scott's name listed when it is in fact Mitch singing. Other times you have Mitch's name listed when in fact it was Kirstin or Scott singing.

@@mmg8823 it seems to me that you're misunderstanding the format of the vocal range video. this is not a random clip show and the markers (register above, person below) are there to separate the video in sections. i use the captions in the video (plus chapters in youtube) to make it clear that i'm singling out that one person's part in the clip. that's the system i've always used in all my vocal range videos for ptx because 1) there is barely any parts in arrangements/songs where only one of them sings alone, and 2) the fact that the videos i had to work with were performances with audience/judge commentary and full instrumentation made it extremely hard to isolate audio, as i usually try to do to avoid these kinds of confusions. here are some examples of my format: 0:00 yes scott is singing the solo, but matt is also singing during "turn around", hence the octave unison marker 0:32 yes scott has the solo but matt is singing the bassline, hence the background marker 2:20 the unison marker is there because this is kevin's section. here i point out that kevin's voice is kinda drowned out because everyone is singing on that part, and he's in unison with the main vocal line, etc in addition, you could check any other vocal range video i have on ptx to see that i use pretty much the exact same formatting. i hope this was enough to clear any confusion, but let me know if you have any more notes.
see, your comment is very intuitive but after watching the show it seemed more like a marketing tool rather than an actual talent show. macaw (david archuleta) was promoting his song after his reveal, medusa (bishop briggs) is going on tour soon, etc. and this to me seems like PTX's chance to fully transition to full instrumentation in their arrangements and that's what they talked about in the interviews post-reveal - and they also released a streamable version of creep. so yeah, the point of the show is not to "discover" who the singer is no matter how much they try to pretend like it is. whatever happens in between songs is just fluff to fill the runtime, IMO. which is also the reason why i've grown very uninterested about this show after its first season and i just watch the videos when i singer i like happens to be there.
Alternate working titles: "Scott's runs-a-palooza" and "1001 examples of Masked Singer injustice"....lol...great vid!

I dont understand. Isnt the point to try and guess who it is? There are five of them and Scott ONLY sounds like Scott from PTX.

@@pb2560 I also heard that after the unmasking, some of the older Pentatonix albums showed up on the Billboard Top 200 and 100 charts again.
