Like in the next year 2018 Jessie J was invited to compete and she won. Dimash was the youngest and was just 22. He was completely unknown boy and didn't even know Mandarin language. He was runners up in Singer 2017 next to the legend Sandy Lam.

Geoff Castelluci can do a reverse octave jump from an F#2 to an F#1 (chest) Dimash could probably do that with his vocal fry, but it will not sound as good. Just about anyone who can do vocal fry’s can do that, but it takes real skill for chests notes/subharmonic notes. I’ve never heard him hit low subharmonic notes...

Solo12313 I think her low notes can be because she supported a C3 in late 2019 in my all at the Lincoln center. And I think she could still pull of an F5 since she did last year. We can be able to tell by 1, how many Eb5’s she gives us this year and 2, how supported they are because if she can support an Eb5 (which she did in Fly Like A Bird and Your Girl) than I think she can do an F5. I’m just jot sure if she can go higher than that but especially with all this rest she’s getting I think she can do it. I do see your point tho and I’m not fully disagreeing.
@@Number-ek1hf The C3 wasn't supported, and there was no F5 last year. And only one of the Eb5s from this year were supported. But I do think with all this rest, she may be in the right condition to give more Eb5s and E5s (and possibly F5s) when she performs again.
I thought Patti LaBelle has extreme vocal abilities like being able to walk away from the mic and still can be able to be heard by everyone, she's the queen of Glissandon, and she has amazing breath control (she's 75 and can hold a 10-second note that's untouchable).

The "octave" jump for Adriana Arellano is actually an octave and a half. From D4 to G5. Into The Unknown has MASSIVE vocal jumps. In fact, the lowest AND highest chest voice sections in that song are both in the chorus. The jump Adriana did there is from the lowest to the highest note in that whole song (except for the falsetto adlibs in the background, of course).
