Love your series, don’t understand why you guys don’t get more praise. You’ve developed the best and only tips and guides this detailed in spearo community. Thank you all for all your hard work and dedication. Have a great new year!
Good points but nothing mentioned about aiming. For me I've found it's better to point and shoot instinctively and let your peripheral vision centre the shaft axis and aiming point. I used to over think aiming and use all sorts different points of reference on my gun, shut one eye etc, but now I point n shoot with both eyes open and only miss on the odd occasion.
Just a quick question. What are your thoughts on holding the spear gun pistol grip style like firing a pistol. Two hands on the gun bent arms to take the recoil. I know in hard current you will need to hold the bottom for a steady shot but in ideal conditions what do you think?
Good advice. The less energy is lost due to recoil backwards, the more energy can be passed on the shaft and forward. Action = Reaction. If reaction close to zero, greater energy going forward.

Also a lot different using open or closed muzzle guns.
@@o.antonio yep agree 100%. I love open muzzle wood gun myself.
The video talked a lot about what can be described as “body indexing”… And that absolutely has everything to do with intuitive aiming.
This is an incredibly usefull tip, never thought about the process of putting your whole body mass but makes all the sense.
I'm new to spearfishing ill definitely be using your tips on getting an accurate shot, thanks good little vid👍
