I think the sentence is ridiculous. The level of manipulation involved in the crime. The level of manipulation after the crime, the pre meditation that went into it, the lack of remorse shown. Even after sentencing he is claiming innocence. Its an absolute joke, if you think this is justice i completely disagree. True justice, in my opinion, would be receiving the same penalty that would be imposed upon the perpetrator(s) had it actually occurred. In my opinion this would then deter any further idiots from doing the same thing, this just shows the punishment for such foolishness, deceit and divisiveness is a slap on the wrist. Not good.
I hope Jussie will experience some self reflection during his 5 months of jail. Maybe he’ll receive a letter from someone who can find the profound words that will make him understand that he needs to stop with the nonsense, & become a better man.

Jussie is a DRAMA Queen for sure. Like most jails there is a medical department with doctors and nursing staff. And like the lawyer said there are procedures for inmates that make suicidal statements. He will be in a cell by himself dressed in a one piece suit and watched by a police officer sitting on the outside of the cell. If needed the doctor will prescribe medicine for him to take for his anxiety. If he keeps acting like he is he can get the same treatment the entire five months . He needs to be in jail. He acts like he can do whatever he wants and not be punished. Maybe that is how he has always lived his life. This is the real world.

Yup. There is no cure for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Jussie is a clear case.
I think he’s a borderline and may be a dual diagnosis and be bi polar as well. Bi polars can go on manic episodes where they get delusional and they don’t sleep for days, and come up with crazy plans that to a normal person sounds crazy but to them makes some kind of bizarre sense. Borderlines are constantly seeking attention by doing bizarre things or telling outrageous lies. When bi polar people have these manic episodes it can last days. And he’s doing drugs so he’s a dual diagnosis on that basis alone. His lawyer should have said he is mentally ill and has a drug addiction he is using for self medication. That’s what I would have done, and I wouldn’t have let him say a word, and if he did I would call a psychiatrist to explain his behavior. I have heard psychiatrists say that borderlines are the hardest to treat for that reason because they think they don’t need any help and deny they are the problem and that they have a mental condition. I can’t believe they didn’t go that route. I had a psychiatrist say to me about another person that they would act out and act badly and awful when there worst fear was I would leave them and I said if they fear me leaving why do all the bad things, and act out in hurtful and dangerous ways, and they said because it’s crazy and crazy behaviors don’t make any sense.

Did you notice the woman on Jessie's left? While the judge is talking before giving his sentence, she's shaking her head "no", as if continuing to argue while the judge is talking. It appeared disrespectful and inappropriate. Even if they disagree and think he's innocent, and what the judge is saying is not accurate, you should still show respect for the court, the judge and the time and decision of the jury. Very rude, imo, and surely did not help their client. Perhaps not hurt him, but certainly not help him.
