Looks pretty difficult, but this is very helpful! Thank you very much :) It might not be super useful besides as a mix-up, but it definitely looks stylish. I guess it also doesn't harm to have a few more movement options.
@NotBae I believe I have a few extensions of battlefield and one of them even SDX used in tournaments, but it seemed rare for him to do. This teleport cancel can be used on battlefield and it’s actually pretty simple once you get the timing down. Just do a normal get up when coming back onto ledge. Then do a full hop, and this is the most important part, you MUST wait for your full jump to fully come out or else this cancel won’t happen. Do your double jump cancel input then immediately teleport down toward the platform, if you did it right then it should cancel. On the other hand if you didn’t do it then you either did it too fast or you didn’t wait for your full hop to full come out. To let your full hop come out, let mewtwo float in the air for a split second longer. That should help you be more consistent. Now for the second teleport cancel. In this game sometimes it’s kinda hard to get off a platform so I labbed out a way for mewtwo to get around this. When NotBae was showing you teleports off of the platform near that blue circle in the middle, there is a few for you to cancel off of the upper platform next to it. You may have to move forward a little bit to pull this off from the position NotBae was doing but same thing applies here. Full hop but make sure to let your jump go out a second longer then do your cancel. You should have successfully cancelled the right side edge of the middle platform. You could even extend this while in the air to teleport back onto the right side platform on the left side ledge. More testing and practice would have to be done to pull that off though. Other than that, it’s all I found so far, hope these help with your mewtwo gameplay and let’s keep pushing mewtwo the farthest we can go
Another way to setup the teleport cancel under the platform on bf is to waveband on the edge of the platform, which has the same effect as rolling to the edge. Then, drop down and teleport straight to the right/left. Same with the PS2 Setup, but on the front end. It's faster than jumping on then rolling.
Notbae you have shown me much with mewtwo and now he's become a strong secondary for me but... I would like to challenge you . I'm not the best but I'm on my way and I feel like a battle with you would make me better. So what do say?
Most of these aren't realistic to try to perform in Ult, the risk/reward significantly less favorable than SSB4. Why Nintendo nerfed Mewtwo's teleport to be less forgiving goes beyond logic. Mewtwo's playstyle was so tricky thanks to teleport cancels/mixups out of the invisibility from his air dodge, both ruined to the point of his playstyle being boring/lame. *yawn*
Schmovement is pretty crucial to winning neutral through spacing and capitalizing on advantage and edgeguarding with ledge traps, trumps, or just being somewhere quicker than anticipated. Teleports in general are scary because they lack a visual cue, making them harder to react to, but with ledge cancelling, they become a more aggressive option, rather than usable only to recover or escape. For example if you knock a character off stage from a ledge and they must recover low, it will be quicker to teleport ledge cancel off stage to punish than it would to short hop/fast fall or fall through ledge and dash to set up.
Not even a Mewtwo main and I've always wanted to do this. Thanks for the tutorial!
Probably the best tool for learning mewtwo is this channel. I wish more people covered this weird fetus cat
Stage bounce always gets me, need to practice my muscle memory to be less clumsy with inputs. Love your videos man
That falcon disable made me subscribe

Soo dang good dude! Music is great too as always
Great vid as always ! Can I hope a guide focused on Nair ? And maybe Nair loops ?
Mewtwo is so damn cool but takes so much work 😭
Amazing guide! I've been searching for this exact thing for 6 months+!
I want them to just let us act out of teleport already. He would feel 100% like a legendary Pokemon and regain the cool-factor his tail robs him of.
That would be broken

No
I don't think he plays with his fans but best of luck to you.
@@rang4889 yeah you're probably right. Well I guess it's time to prove myself.

Please try to understand you're not an anime character.

Wassup NotBae, I even asked about this a week ago, thanks for this
Yes
Do this tips work with palutena?
gustavo diaz probably not but her teleport is a lot easier to ledge cancel with since she slides a lot more when she lands
Sic
👊🎆

For the fullhop ateleporn down there is actually a visual indikator. Dash at tye eghe of a bf platform and drop down
lmao. You can just say front and back foot.
I'm honestly asking. What does this actually do? What is the purpose of doing this?
Jamie Harris I believe I mentioned both at the beginning and end of this video that teleport cancels can be great edge guarding mixups.

I still don’t understand the use of these

You have a whole bag of mixups ranging from extra movement options to kill setups to escaping disadvantage easier
