Both are great options! A lot of folks like Rockwall because it’s more “country-esque”. It’s off on its own and pretty rural as you go further east. McKinney is in the north side of the metro but very much a large city and surrounded by a lot more to do and much more of the “city” life so those are two big differences. Both have tremendous schools. McKinney will have more “to do” around it. Rockwall will have a smaller city feel to it. Price wise - I would say is similar. You can find larger lots in Rockwall - but it’ll come at a price.
