Everything you said is spot on! I moved to Princeton about a year and a half ago into one of those new homes after living in Frisco for many years and I haven’t regretted it. I love watching the development happening all around me and understand that I’m going to have to go through the growing pains and play the long game in order to reap the benefits. Same thing happened in Frisco and McKinney, for example… they used to be “off the beaten path” once upon a time but look at them now!

Just bought a 240k house in Princeton at 4% interest rate. Only $8500 total closing costs including down payment. Builder financing. They gave me a fridge and blinds and put 10k towards my closing costs/down payment. It's a Lennar new build. We'll see how it goes.

Dallas is redneck San Antonio more modern close to Beach in corpus and Austin is close if you like the vibe. Dallas got very less jobs

I’m looking at moving to the DFW area from Tucson, AZ. Between Fort Worth and Dallas suburbs, which would you recommend for more of the traditional southern culture… TX natives, religious individuals, southern hospitality, the southern drawals and “yes ma’am” “no sir” manners? Or is that farther east like in Tyler and outskirts of TX?

Because of the job opportunity in Texas or your company transferred you here. But it’s a pretty ugly place with no character, no trees, no sense of community, culture wars, etc.

Nah. Miss me with the ultra 'burbs vives the colony has. Not to mention that amongst some of us brown folk it doesn't have a stellar reputation
