Hi Rob, on your website now to pre-order the peptides and stock back up on your sunscreen. I know there's conflicting ideas on using copper peptides and Tretinoin. Do they really counter out one another? Should I only use the peptides in AM and Tretinoin at night? Thanks so much, sorry if you've already covered this and I somehow missed. Love from Ohio!
Dear Rob, have you already tried the new RETINAL (yes AL) 0.2% emulsion from TO ? Next launch I guess. A bit expensive but very interesting launch. A direct alternative to the G&G A-Game.
As someone who uses Prescription Tretinoin Cream, at the Highest Strength, a stand alone Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a MUST in MY Skincare Routine! I never cared for the old formulation, of The Ordinaries Hyaluronic Acid either! BUT I have tried the NEW formulation, and I absolutely love this one! I use Vichy 89 Hyaluronic Acid Serum, that has been My Holy Grail Hyaluronic Acid Serum for YEAR'S! But I'm really liking this New formulation from The Ordinary now, so I think I'll be using more of The Ordinary one now! I use Toner's and Essences along with Serums in My everyday Routine, but a Stand alone Hyaluronic Acid Serum is still very much a MUST for ME anyway! It's just as important to Me as a Sunscreen everyday! ❤️
I clicked on this video to ask after I watched it about the copper peptide serum, but it’s one on your list so that worked out perfect!! Yay! Excited to try it!
Hello from Leipzig, Germany ❤ oh my gosh, I was such a big Craig David fan back in the day :D I even remember the day when I purchased his album haha. Rob, you are the sweetest person, putting so much effort into each of your videos! Just wanted to say thank you ❤. As we are about the same age you are my number one reference. love u xxx
Oh thank you so so much for your kind words hun... Craig David for the win :) he is actually a really nice guy as I have seen him in interviews and seems great lol xx
6 of these are in my favourites! I’m enjoying the Barrier support before my retinoids and great when I’ve maybe had a touch too much of the Bangkok heat (very rare occasion!) I do remember your mispronunciation of pycnogenol!! 😂 Sawadee kar (in a Manchester accent!) from Thailand ❤x
Hi Rob, I enjoy watching your videos and learning tips and tricks. I live in the Blue Mountains which is just outside of Sydney Australia. When I think of Southampton I think of cruising I had the pleasure of 4 cruises out of there in 2017. It seems very nice. I’m English so I’m biased when it comes to England. Take care
Hello from North Carolina, USA! At first, the soothing barrier pink stuff seemed to irritate me, but I’ve brought it back and it’s stellar. I added in the alpha arbutin 2% + HA a couple months ago and it’s doing a great job keeping hyperpigmentation on my forehead under control. I switched to the azaleic acid serum after one of your videos as my Inkey List version was done. I use it on my cheeks- I LOVE the texture and it’s keeping the redness down! I also need to shout out the salicylic acid anhydrous serum- my T-zone can get quite congested, especially between my brows. I was out of it for a week and it was wild how fast the oil and sebaceous filaments came back. I use the serum at night and everything is happy. I tend to use my actives where I need them. Some all over (like retinal, barrier repair) but as noted above, some based on what my skin needs where it needs it. I’m 45, veterinary medicine can be stressful, and it can show up in the skin. Skin care became a hobby but also needed self-care. Your videos have provided some great opinions and guidance!
Hello from North Carolina! The Amino Acids + B5 serum is my absolute favorite for instant hydration. It’s lightweight and soaks right into the skin without being greasy.
Thanks for reminding me about that product. I used it, alongside my Tretinoin and peptides and LOVED it too. I ran out awhile back and simply forgot how much I liked it until your comment. MAS Family is the best
I still like some of the ordinarys products and I'm glad that they are improving. But I still like brands like yours better where the products feel more thought out 😊
Southeast Michigan, USA. Love The Ordinary products as well as Good Molecules. They have really helped clear up my discoloration. I mixed the pycnogenol in with your got you covered super serum.
I'm across the water from you Rob on the Isle of Wight, my brother is in Southampton. Always enjoy your content. I absolutely love pycnogenol, makes my skin feel so soft and I love the c derivative, the one we can't spell, I can't pronounce it either, big hugs.x
Dude no way! Tuning in from Miami, Florida at the moment. However, I’m from Miami band moved to Southampton 4 years ago. So great to know you’re in Soton!
Hello from Albuquerque, NM, USA. Rob, love your content! You are always very informative, especially when it comes to The Ordinary products; which I have tried several based on your recommendation...and adore.
Viewing from USA. Southern state called Georgia and a very small town called Rockmart. It’s about 45 minutes northwest of Atlanta. I love your videos 😮 I’m gonna add the pycnogenol to my moisturizer.
@@paulayarbrough6930 Thanks! When I run out of my current toner I'm going to get the Indie Lee Co-Q10 toner which is a bit pricey but supposed to be wonderful. I've got the Ordinary Matrixyl Serum now, and when it runs out I may try the Timeless Synthe 6.
Aloha from Honolulu, Hawaii! I love your explanations of the different The Ordinary products. My skin looks so much better than it did 10 years ago. Very helpful! But your new lip balm has caught my eye and I might just have to check it out.
Hello! I absolutely love your videos that feel so genuine and professional where you explain how the different subjects work with each other. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!❤️ After following you for a while, I got into a facial routine after years of using only soap and water🙈 The products I use today are Boots Ingredients Oat Cleansing Balm, Garnier Skin Active Micellar Vitamin C Cleansing Water, A-Game 10 - Retinal Serum and Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station. I have just turned 40 and unfortunately I have the beginnings of wrinkles (on the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes) and sometimes also pimples (mainly on the forehead or chin). I don't think you should be able to have pimples when you are so old that you got wrinkles but I do..... I have been watching your videos and trying to figure out what products to use to best fight my wrinkles and pimples but now I am asking directly instead. I live in Sweden and Snoxin II Facial Line Fighter Serum is no longer available here. So what do you advise me?
From Memphis, TN usa here….Love their pink barrier support serum! Hydrates and takes away the tingle of other actives. I also use their salicylic acid serum, buffet copper peptide (I will switch to MAS’s cooper peptide when I am done) and glycolic acid toner on my body.
Haha I think its because I come from Leeds so Southampton is tiny in comparison lol but I know what you mean... Sending you so much love to your part of Hampshire :) xx
@@MadAboutSkin yes and I was delighted that your business is a local one…I like to buy local where I can and a plus to support someone I watch on You Tube. Keep up the good work with your content, it is so interesting!
Titanic!! I'm in Bournemouth not far away and the first thing that springs to mind for me with something that Southampton might be known for is its links to the titanic 😊
I have scaled back my products from The Ordinary in favor of Korean products, but I still use at least five. use the Pycnogenol in my nighttime routine for well aging benefits. I combine the Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion with the .1% Retinal from Greek and Gorgeous and have tolerated it well (started with the .05% G&G). I am trying the 1% Copper Peptide this year, too early to know. I use the lash serum because I need all the help I might get. I didn’t get the Argiraline this year, but will probably go back.
Glycolic acid is hydrating as well. I believe Shereene ldriss a dermatologist that has a channel here on UA-cam prefers glycolic acid because it goes deeper ( which can be irritating for some) but it is more hydrating than lactic acid.
Greetings from Visalia a small town in central California. Another fact about Southampton is, that's where Titanic set off on its maiden voyage. And there's only one Ocean liner left and that's the Queen Mary Il that's also sets off from there to NY.

I have as a standard aloe+nag in my skin. I have a low key suspicion that support barrier serum and a+n are meant to be combined. My eye catcher somewhere that nag has a good synergy with niacinamide as a soft retinol effect! which is intriguing. Buyt i have removed sbs from my routine atm , cause i am working on my hydration.... maybe interesting to mention? Creams just don't do the trick for me. I am currently using cerave lotion, bepanthoil lotion and b+oil and i am almost happy next day. I guess i lack emollients and creams don't have enough of them?
Greetings from Switzerland! 😊 Do you think the ordinary copper peptides can be used along with the Mad about skin antioxydant cream? Looking forward to try your peptides serum! ❤

- Multi-Peptides + Copper Peptide 1% (by far my #1 favourite product from the brand)
- 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder
- Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%
- Lactic Acid 10% + HA
- Amino Acids + B5
Et voilà !
