Very complex. I need an advise. How do I use different drum kits for different variations ?. Like variation one drums and variation two tabla. Many thanks
You can do it in the style creator. There you can select different sounds for each element(variations, intros fill etc). But if you assign a sound to a track from the style play screen, it will be applied to all the elements
You are genius. I am surprised why Korg made set loading so complicated. Yamaha keyboard you just plug and play directly from USB without loading into instrument.
You can use styles direct from usb in Korg as well. But when user sounds are involved, they need to be loaded in the predefined locations. Even in yamaha, expansion packs need to be installed for user sounds with samples. But Yamaha’s file system is better than korg
This is absolutely crazy! In yamaha psr S series it's a matter of few button presses to load styles in user memory. It even allows to play the style direct from usb drive. Why it has to bd sooooo complex?
@prem kumar The complexity is when there are user sounds used. If only factory sounds are used, it is just to load styles or the style banks. There is an option to play styles direct from USB too in korg. In yamaha, to combine multiple expansion packs, you need to have the ppf or cpf files and need to use YEM to generate a new installation pack and install it again on the keyboard and it will replace all the existing packs on the keyboard. This process is easier than Korg. But on the keyboard there is no option to combine multiple packs.
Hmmm, all these keyboards are complex, I find them so frustrating. I spend more time learning how they work than playing. I have the Korg Pa4x and I only need about a third of all the features, and I'd be happy with simpler interface. However filling instruments with lots of tech is now a selling point, so we'll just have to deal with it.
Thank you. I record the voice separate on another keyboard. There was a default reverb in the setting with a value 5. I reduced it to 1 and using a different mic now in the recent videos for yamaha. Are those videos sounding ok?
@@ArrangerTutorials Hi Matthew, I have the Korg Pa4x, but as you ask, I've given the Yamaha videos a listen. The one you did three weeks ago is perfect, while the latest one seems to have a touch of distortion on your voice. Maybe the gain on the mic was a little to high? Wish I could learn to use these machines like you, I find the learning curve so steep and frustrating. I find there's little coherence in how you operate the various functions, and far too many steps. For example on the Pa4x there's an exit button, so you'd think that's what it does. But no, often you have to use other ways to go back or exit a function. Keep up the good work.

Hello how can i use pads from a diffrent set? (Just the pads)
Its the same process. You copy the pads as you copy the styles and then remap the user sounds
Love your videos and I've found them helpful, however I don't understand why you have reverb on your speech
