Blackcurrant jam is delicious. I found out that long ago, it was the favored accompaniment to peanut butter in a sandwich - of course with the crusts cut off. I tried it and it sure beats grape jelly. Almost makes peanut butter sophisticated.

I have, of late, been enjoying marionberry jam with butter and sliced fresh Serrano peppers on challah. Any peppers will do. Yum.
I'd go for that with cream cheese instead of butter, but... umm... wouldn't turn it down if it suddenly appeared in front of me, lemme tell ya :)

Almond butter tastes like almonds. Some have a bit of sugar added. It's good. I like it on toasted English muffins with raisins.
Plus it up with more holes.
