@@fathead7140 what I'm finding as this is my first year in Oklahoma from Phoenix is other than July - mid-september full sun is fine but during the hotter months at least for next year. I think shade cloth is necessary at 30%. Either that or afternoon shade starting at maybe 1 :00 p.m.
Not yet my over just go to ferments. I do have a 3 gallon vat that I can ferment in. So far I need to get a 5 gallon. Actually a couple 5 gallons. To be honest, we're going to have a ton of stuff next year, but I guess if anything I'll be selling sauces. Maybe in a year or so. I have 4 gallons of hot sauce all fermented that I have no use for cuz it's way too much to eat. The most flavorful and richest tasting pepper that has a good amount of heat so far is the black habanero. I'm going to make a pure black habaneros sauce in the fall

I live in oklahoma as well. How many hours are your plants average of direct sun a day. I'm trying to figure out placement for next season

@bennielamb8911 this summer has been alittle werid. We usually get alot more humidity. This has reminded me of out west some. Ty for the info.
