I live in oklahoma as well. How many hours are your plants average of direct sun a day. I'm trying to figure out placement for next season

@@fathead7140 what I'm finding as this is my first year in Oklahoma from Phoenix is other than July - mid-september full sun is fine but during the hotter months at least for next year. I think shade cloth is necessary at 30%. Either that or afternoon shade starting at maybe 1 :00 p.m.

@bennielamb8911 this summer has been alittle werid. We usually get alot more humidity. This has reminded me of out west some. Ty for the info.

Not yet my over just go to ferments. I do have a 3 gallon vat that I can ferment in. So far I need to get a 5 gallon. Actually a couple 5 gallons. To be honest, we're going to have a ton of stuff next year, but I guess if anything I'll be selling sauces. Maybe in a year or so. I have 4 gallons of hot sauce all fermented that I have no use for cuz it's way too much to eat. The most flavorful and richest tasting pepper that has a good amount of heat so far is the black habanero. I'm going to make a pure black habaneros sauce in the fall
