I just bought an FX Maverick. Was shooting with a buddy who has a panthera. We were shooting through a target with a 5/16 hole and a drop down flap when it went through the hole. We had it set at 50 yards. I had 4 in a row through a 5/16 hole. Absolutely mind blowing accuracy. The interesting thing, the misses that hit the metal plate were louder than the shot itself.
The fact that you can shoot the airgun anywhere needs to be taken into account.

Great review. I shoot both 22 rim fire and HPA PCP airguns. Both are Amazing but getting past 150 to 200 yards with a pcp in a comparison test of accuracy with a 22 rim fire is like talking about apples and oranges. Both are great and serve there purpose but as far as long range shooting " hands down the 22 rim fire is going to dominat." For now. The airgun industry is making huge strides in making airguns as efficient as black powder.
I definitely would like to see more comparisons on this topic in up coming videos. GREAT VIDEO, THUMBS UP

Hi guys, nice video! Just my 2 cents: I shoot with an Impact M3 as well but made different choices for long range shooting. I'm using a 800mm barrel and 40 grain slugs at 950 fps with a 0.21 BC.
Shooting consistently up to 400-500 meters on 30cmx30cm steel plates. These higher bc slugs really make a difference at those distances (there are not many on the market yet, mine are cnc machined and very consistent: My last measurement gave me 21 shots with a spread of 1m/s for a standard deviation of only 0.4, which is totally insane). It's still as complicated as shooting a .22LR but from 300m onwards, I've got less wind drift with my impact than a .22LR, which is completely crazy! At closer ranges, my muzzlespeed being a little slower, the .22LR has the edge as far as drift is concerned.

@@richards.8987 correct type of video, but wrong brand or at least type of airgun and unsuitable slug. You can find what artilightoptics is talking about on my channel, as we manufacture the mentioned CNC slugs and show how they shoot. For example, 4 shots with C-C 0.68MOA at 300 yards and then shooting from 200m to 1400m, the last video for example from shooting at 1000 yards.
.22LR hasn't stood a chance against a proper set of airgun and slugs for a few years now, especially at longer distances, for example the 300 yards mentioned in the video.

I've been into airguns for 20 years and that is impressive! Any of my airguns, including my Air Arms s410 are great out to 50 yds with pellets, so if course I bought a stock impact m3 to start playing with the slugs. My airgun shooting is 'trigger time without leaving the house' and has vastly helped me improve my productivity at the range when I go with any of my powder burners. It's magnitudes of order less expensive than some of them! Good watching you guys shoot together some more! 👍👍

I shoot both and dollar for dollar, you can't beat a CZ-455/457 in .22lr or .17hmr for accuracy to 100 yds. You're looking at $3,000+ for an FX M3, $500+ for a compressor, $300+ for a SCBA tank, not to mention sever Ben Franklins for add-ons. I paid just north of $600 for a new CZ-457.

You can say those "excuses from fan boys" but some are simply true.
Not to put Brady down at all....but this wasn't the best showing.
Matt Dubber and Ted Holdover went head to head with Iraq Vet 8888 and I believe they lost but you can see a better head to head match up in that video

Lol, my DAYSTATE and RAW will out shoot Bradys poorly tuned FX Impact!
Pellet BCs are so bad that nobody shoots them past 125 yards. I've got PCPs that will out shoot my custom 10/22, 541T and rivals my 50 year old Anschutz.
PCPs are showing up at NRL22 matches for a reason..

I'm not FX fanboy. This is a $400-500 rifle at 285 yards. Impact can do much better than this!

@@StormyT59 Agree Raw 1000 is a tack driver!! But a wel tuned Impact would also out shoot this poorly tuned Impact lol
Like u said, "there is a reason why...." Fx Impacts were 9 of the top 10 guns at RMAC. There precision is currently unmatched. I have never shot a Daystate but I know there are amazing. I am dying to gt a RAW with the new Saber Tactical chassis. Gorgeous gun with a lot of potential

      @StormyT59 Рік тому

@KevinWood44 the RAW was my go to 22 until I got the Panthera. The Daystate usually sits pretty in the cabinet because my Impacts just shoot better and I don't worry about scratching it. Pure bench or position shooting, the Panthera.
Do it all gun, the Impact!

that fx Impact m3 setup is not the best for long range, with a tensioned 800mm barrel, without silencer, first reg bypass, huma second reg high power, trs rail with barrel clamp, and very important thing.....the grains weight of diferent slugs/fps for diferent distances.

I am the #1 technician of my country in the Dominican Republic, and I know that all this is promotion to make believe that this rifle is the best in the world and it is not, many already know it, this FX weapon It's just to sell a piece and make money, it's not what everyone on UA-cam wants to make you believe, I'll soon upload a video to my channel, shooting at 137 yards hitting an object less than 1" inches and this is with a 450mm Tj barrel with .217 and 23gr at 1035fps and I will show all my channel is #AirGunLR

My feinwerkbau800 ft, daystate mk4 both in .177 make way better groups at 50 yards than that impact, and the groups of that .22lr "precision rifle" are terrible too
It's funny too see how firegun people keep calling their guns "real guns", they're all real !! :)

Honestly I'm not impressed with the performance of the airgunner here, or was it because of the pellet he's using. I mean I've seen many videos of top end airguns shooting as tight as one and a halft inch or even better group at 100yard

I agree !
The fact that you can shoot the airgun anywhere needs to be taken into account.

i hate to say this but my 25 cal 300$ avenger air rifle is more accurate than your fx impact. 100 percent. same ragged hole groups at 50 all day and i might be able to beat that 1.07 100 yard group i will test tomorrow. alot of my 50 yard shots are hole on hole.
