Having never played One Deck Dungeon, I have nothing to compare this to. I do like the look of this one though and am glad to know that it will also accomodate up to 2 players, since much of my gaming is done either solo or 2-player. Thanks for the video, John!
@RvLeshrac 😆 It’s funny. I know these people put so much time and effort into their games and then you get these rule books that a written poorly after what is probably hundreds of hours of play testing and development. It’s a shame but there are more bad rule books that good ones out there and for the life of me, I cannot understand why. You would think the game publishers would be of help since they want the games to sell.

13:47 Unfortunately it is not allowed to study encounters to gain them as science; only locations can be studied. This is not explained very clearly in the rulebook, but it has been confirmed by the designer in the BGG forums.

Agreed. However, I think you could totally play the whole things after several months with a proper player aid.
