- Hi, this video shows you Fortnite being played on a 34 year old Panasonic Boombox. The TV is a black & white CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) and Fortnite is being played from the Xbox One X which is then transmitting the picture and audio over the air as a RF signal. The Boombox is picking it up as an analogue signal via the antenna. The picture is far better than I thought it would be.

@Cody Campbell it's really not, you can buy rf modulators on eBay or Amazon for like $8 to $30 which have HDMI.
I do it with an hdmi to rca converter and then to an rf modulator, then coax with antenna signal to my 80s TV. I can then use it as another computer monitor. It's like 30 bucks in adapters and cables.

I am honestly amazed by the shear genius it took to convert the HDMI output into analog. Wow... Good on you, mate. 😁
A different way you could do that is a balun connected to the back of an analog tv, then use a coaxial cable connected to an RF to AV modulator, then connect the HDMI output from the Xbox to an HDMI to AV adapter, connect the AV cable from the HDMI adapter into the RF adapter, and it’s connected. But this? This is a whole other level.
