It could very well be a fictional story. Right now, no one can say whether there was such an experiment or not. In fact, this is an illustration of Pascal's law.

A paradox is essentially an idea which simultaneously holds true and false like a Schrödinger's cat in superimposed states of life and death. I suppose in past scientific communities Pascal's paradox was considered as such with the same reasoning as an existential paradox would qualify. In essence the phenomenon was assumed an impossibility not only proved possible despite all human intuition, but also later thoroughly described in full mathematical glory, making the apparent paradox no longer an assumed impossibility, but explained by new and incoming scientific reason and thus no longer a paradox. I wonder whether the limitations of human communication will safely avoid the undoing of any existence-critical paradoxes in the same way for mankind in the future. What would happen if humankind were to run out of shit to explain because their very own purpose has been voided via reason?
I'm not sure why I've never hear of this experiment before, but it's incredibly interesting and leads me to many new concepts.

Your channel is very valuable. Thanks for the explanation.
Why is this not a common example used!!! You cleared up so many questions I had thank you 😀
,
Wonderful video, thks
thanks for the comment
So, you could potentially use this in conjunction with the boiling rates of water at different pressures to change the temp needed to boil, right?
This is very helpful. Thanks u for dis 🤙
thanks for the comment
sir what is meant by paradox
Thank you!
But isn't the area of the second flask less making the force equal?
Which soft. Do u use for animation ?

@@hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253 it has water physics ?
no
I think this is still impossible
There must be some level of discrepancy between real life and theory, or otherwise you can destroy anything with just a mug of water and long tube.

Yes, at present this is just an illustration of the law of physics, but it was once a paradox.
Thanks@@hydraulicandpneumaticsyste3253! I now feel smarter and wiser for our collective agreement. Continue the education.
