You explain this very well. Great tune to play as first song, sounds great. But it would be really helpful if each note was displayed on the screen as you played each note of the song eg D6 B5 G5 C6 etc. (where 5 and 6 are the octaves as shown in tuners). Mind you I can get every note running at half speed with tuner. But be great not having to do that. For complete beginners like me. Also you never went over note 'C' in first video or C#
I liked your beginners video, the Polka, how you said each note in order before you played the line was very helpful. I'm slow, so I wrote them down and used them for reference. Now I can play it. This one is much more challenging for me since I struggle with tone deafness. I can't carry a tune in a bucket but if I am persistent I can overcome it. Knowing the exact notes helps. Love your work. Thanks.
Really cool channel, thanks for the lessons! Something that would make it next-level awesome would be if you could display tablature (to the side of screen maybe) because it's hard to see what notes you're playing.
What’s the best thing to build up memory on tin whistle to play the notes without even thinking and be able to play a tune some bit fluent as a total beginner coming from tenor banjo to whistle without collapsing a lung 🫁😃great tune goes well after the fairy dance reel 👍
So thrilled Ive found your channel and tin whistle tutorials! I just got a Clarke Sweet tone in D yesterday and am excited to get going. I used to play some classical recorder so am familiar with basic fingering techniques but ornamentation is what I really need. I tend to be too rigid and scientific about where to put it - seriously overthinking! Loving your advice and approach so far. Please keep the tunes and tutorials coming, if you can!! And thank you 😁
